Not to worry. When those switched to part-time are forced into Medicaid with that cool Obamacare clawback provision that confiscates all property, it’ll be all good.
Yeah, my sister is dealing with that right now here in California as the executor of our parents’ estate. Getting our mom on Medi-Cal was the only way for my dad to get her into a care home she badly needed when he could no longer care for her at home. When Dad passed away a few months ago (Mom died in 2012), they can now claim against the estate. So far they’ve submitted almost $68K, and have a few more months to come up with additional charges. I guess I don’t really care, I’m more interested in a few personal items that are treasures to me than money….but at least Medi-Cal is last in line to collect. I guess they have to at least TRY to make this clusterfuck of a law sustainable somehow, but knew most people wouldn’t have gone for this..hence, the fine print!

And I still hear the “blame Bush” mantra….being bandied about….I reply”Obama has been president for 5 years now…blaming the last guy doesn’t hold water anymore. He owns it…They pushed obunglercare through with no republicans support, even the Rino’s were smart enough to stay away from it.
