Home Again Home Again Jiggety Jog

Just got home from South Carolina a few minutes ago and I’m fixin’ to get back into my everyday routine. The highway was a little crowded but people were driving the speed limit so I made good time. There was a Dale Earnhardt wannabe in an Infiniti that almost hit me and a few other people by weaving in and out of traffic and cutting people off. This is one of the times when I really wanted to see a cop. I used to like to drive really fast, but I never drove as recklessly as this guy. He was a major league idiot!

Didja know that A&E is running a Duck Dynasty marathon. Wow! They must really be upset at Phil Robertson. And, I just heard that he’s gonna be back in January. Does that mean he isn’t getting suspended? Didja ever notice that the people who scream the loudest about “tolerance” are the most intolerant people? Or howza ’bout “Diversity (All Hail Diversity!)? The champions of Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) on the college campuses believe in Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) of everything but Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) of ideas. They champion freedom of speech as long as it’s speech they agree with. Conservative speech? Nope! That’s eeeee-vil “hate speech” and must be suppressed. Fucking hypocritical bastards!

Fortunately, this year we didn’t have Christmas dinner with the people we had dinner with the last two Christmases. Our hostess at those dinners was a liberal Dimocrat gummint worker and my sister had to warn me to be on my best behavior. You notice it always seems to be conservatives who have to behave? Maybe it’s because we have more class. We also give more money to charity than liberals do. Conservatives are generous with their own money. Liberals are generous with other peoples’ money. I still remember the year my mother, with a modest income of Social Security and some investment income, gave more money to charity than Pope Albert I of the Church of AGW back when he was VP. He was a millionaire and gave less to charity than my mom who had an income of around $20K. After his tax return was made public and people saw that he and Tipper only gave $300 he was shamed into giving more to charity. And let’s not forget Thunder Rodent Thighs taking a deduction for donating some of BJ’s used underwear.

It’s nice to be home. My cats were glad to see me. Now it’s time to get psyched up for my ski trip in January. I hear there’s a lot of snow in Colorado this year.

  1. Phil will be on the next season because they had it taped before all this BULLSHIT went down its the season after hes getting his hand slaped for

  2. It’s fantastic that you’re going on a ski trip in January. Wishing you a great time. Although, while you’re skiing, I keep begging God to take care of you, and worry each day until I read your fascinating night report. I hope the other people on the hills are behaving properly. I told my 9-year-old grandson, who does snowboarding in Winnipeg, to avoid bumping into skiers. Maybe the lesson will be heard in Colorado. Here’s to your good health, Denny.
