In Sharpton’s case, he was even given his own show on MSNBC, which pretty much shows the standards they have.

I don’t believe Obama ever referred to Farrakhan as a hero. It’s probably fairer to say he’s straddled the fence on that one, making a few soft noises of disapproval when the situation demanded. (It’s interesting that Farrakhan got P.O.’d when Obama bumped off his pal Gaddafi, who’d previously played host to Farrakhan and gave him money back before Bush rehabilitated him.) If you want to point to evidence of a cozy Obama/Farrakhan relationship, I think this pic of Michelle partying with Farrakhan’s wife is better evidence.
