This one is from Clyde.
Two ladies who had not seen each other in quite a while ran into each other. Catching up on news they eventually began to talk about their children and their activities. One stated her boys had finished school and bought a cattle ranch. The other lady said that is very unusual and wanted to know more. The first talked about the location and some of the ranching business. She said they had allowed her to name the ranch, which she called “Focus”. The friend wanted to know how she had arrived at that name, to which she replied, ” Simple, it’s where the sons raise meat”.
Some won’t get it!
True… Had to read it twice.
Yeah. . . I don’t get it.
Okay, now I get it. It’s an optical illusion!
Nope. No idea.
Nope right over my head!
It works if you read it out loud. Stumped me a little.
Tricky. That one took me a minute.
What’s their cattle “brand symbol” look like?
Probably a boob with a giant aureole.
Nah! It’s a prism.
Good one.
Hey, Claudia: Surely you can do a whole hell of a lot better than that.
No, it cannot be improved, Scottiebill. It’s a perfect Three in One. I truly admire it.
Very sophisticated use of the English language. The line makes sense when standing alone, yet is gibberish when used in context. Reads one way, sounds another way. This is one of the best puns presented here, IMHO.
I was told that it is the only triple perfect pun in the English language, but there must be others out there somewhere. Anyone?
Took me a few minutes, wow, I’m an idiot …….;-)
ouch.
