20 Trillion Dollars!

As I was riding around today, I heard a figure on the radio. Since the beginning of LBJ’s Great Fucking Society, we have spent over $20 trillion in the War on Poverty. What do we have to show for it? We still have poverty. It’s gotten worse not better. And our poor live better than middle class people in other countries. They have TVs and smart phones. And look at the crime. Look at the feral blacks playing the Knockout Game. Look at the rise of the illegitimacy rate for both black and white mothers. It’s worse among black women where it’s over 70% but it has risen among white women as well. Get yourself knocked up and you can go on welfare. And you can keep irresponsibly having babies and we will pay you for it.

Think of what we could have done with that $20 trillion if we hadn’t subsidized poverty in this country. We could have come up with some common sense solutions for a lot less than that. But what do I know? I’m just a heartless racist SOB.

  1. It’s a feature, not a bug. The war on poverty is design to ensure perpetual class of dependants that’s also a reliable voting block. It’s working as designed.

  2. My father called welfare”fertilizing weeds”. It is nothing more than subsidizing laziness and encouraging ignorance. In the 60’s the black students I met were barely literate. They were exactly the same in the 80’s. People unqualified for college but attending school on the taxpayers dime. I don’t believe that the percentage of blacks with bachelors degrees is much higher than it was in 1965.
I’ll look it up and get back to you.

    • At the Packers Hall of Fame I watched newsreels and interviews of the players from bygone years. One thing I noticed is that the black players from 50, 60 years ago were better educated, more articulate, and can be considered “class acts” compared to many of the black players of this so-called “modern” era.

  3. All that money.., wasted. What a great shame. And we have really nothing to show for it. Nothing to be proud that is. More poverty, more crime. Your right Denny, to think what we could have down with all that money. It saddens my heart. Even worse.., how much more we are going to waste on the great war on poverty.

  4. We could have had colonies on the moon and Mars for starters. But the demos with the help of their rino friends choice to destroy the black family structure(and buy their votes) instead.
As LBJ put it , “If we pass this we will own those nigger votes for the next hundred years.”, or words to that effect.

  5. Well, Denny, to tell you the truth, this supports my theory that the WoP was what really started tanking our economy.
Once we introduced food stamps into the equation we created more demand for food (and probably most everything else if one sold the coupons for cash) but there was no backing (kids, go look up Silver Certificate) and they weren’t handed out as a measure of productivity (just fertility) so there’s an artificial currency that played in a big circle from the dot-gov to the consumer to the grocer and back to the dot-gov.
The farmer, meat packer and wholesaler could get cash from the grocer but he had to go through the added hassle of maintaining separate accounting for the food coupons, then redeem them to get his cash.
Now it’s all electrons, and if we ever had to account for the actual dollars that are supposedly floating around out there, I’d bet you wouldn’t find enough trees on earth to make the paper on which to print all those bucks.

    • Back in the 70’s I worked with a guy who had a liquor store in the ghetto and he would buy food stamps at a discount so his customers could buy liquor. He then sold the food stamps at a profit.

  6. And 50% or more of Black women have HIV from being married to or have sex with the Queers who think they aren’t Queer like Barry the Down Low Clubber.
(I can’t say Gay cause I still think Queer when I hear someone say Gay.)

    • I saw a program on prsion and a black male said that a man had to have sex so havering sex in prsion did nat make you gay.

With logic like that no wonder he was in prsion.

  7. This continuous, never-ending argument that blacks are owed extra by whatever convoluted logic they use is beyond ridiculous. It has been used and abused beyond belief. Those that continue to pander to this logic, for whatever reason, seem to want to keep blacks on the plantation, then use it to knock the white man, who we all know is the cause of their suppression.

Only in America can you get access to an Ivy League school and entrance into the corridors of power and still maintain you’re a victim of the very society that allowed you to flourish.

  8. We could all talk about how welfare has destroyed the black family, but I’ve got enough white-trash in my family woodpile that is perfectly content to sleep-in, do nothing, and let someone send them a check from someone else’ labor. And the only work they’ll every do is working the angles that gets them more goodies for sitting on their asses.

For me, one of the most damning indictments of the welfare class is that our poor people are fat. How’s that for some shit?
