Snowmass Village Colorado
Wow! Today was even better than yesterday. Everything finally clicked. It’s only taken twelve years. I bombed down the mountain today! First thing in the morning we did some more work on slow turns down steep pitches. Then, Crystal turned me loose. I skied blues faster than I have ever skied them. Runs that used to look steep to me, didn’t anymore. I skied super fast and totally in control. There are two shredders who normally come to the camp, but for various reasons didn’t make it this year. Crystal told me that I would be skiing with them now. Anyhoo, the last two days were the best I have skied in my life. Now, I’m really looking forward to next year.
Time to pack for the trip home. Bummer!
Congrats. Love days like that where everything comes together.
Bravo! Incredible what you manage to achieve. I always love that photo on your Monoski. You truly look in control on the hills. You should be proud. Have a safe trip back home.
I’m with Claudia.
Well, not literally, because she is in Canada, and I am not – but you know what I mean.
Way to go Denny! You inspire us all. Have a safe trip home.
I’m waiting for The Denny Ski Channel to premiere on cable TV.
Go GOC!
If you want to ski on crappy ice, come to Maine. If you can ski here, you can ski anywhere. Although, I must admit when I went to Park City a few years ago, I wasn’t sure what to do with 14″ of powder.
