WASHINGTON — Contract negotiations are stalled for thousands of workers at casinos on the Strip and in downtown Las Vegas to the point where they may go on strike — and the sticking point is Obamacare.

How can that be? You guys were responsible for Horrible Harry getting elected and you were all in on Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade. Surely you support Obummercare.

On Feb. 20, thousands of housekeepers, porters, cooks, cocktail servers, and others represented by Nevada’s largest union, the Culinary Union Local 226, voted to end a contract extension the workers agreed to last summer. The union wants to maintain its current benefits — including health care coverage at no cost to workers, pensions, and guaranteed 40-hour workweeks.

Rising health care costs due to provisions in the Affordable Care Act could put those benefits in jeopardy, the union says.

Ya notice now that most people with over two functional brain cells realize what a steaming pile of crap Obummercare is the LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party is now calling it the Affordable Care Act.

“The biggest hurdle to reaching settlements in Vegas is the new costs imposed on our health plan by Obamacare,” Donald “D” Taylor, president of Unite Here, the parent union of CU Local 226, told BuzzFeed in a statement. “Even though the president and Congress promised we could keep our health plan, the reality is, unless the law is fixed, that won’t be true.”

You guys were dumb enough to believe that? Dontcha know how to tell if Obumbler is lying? His lips move.

On March 20, workers will have the opportunity to decide whether or not they would want to walk off the job at several hotels, including the Stratosphere, the Riviera, and the Plaza.

The vote wouldn’t necessarily start a strike. A successful vote would merely give the union the right to authorize a strike. But once a motion to strike passed with a simple majority, workers could walk off the job at any time.

Go ahead. Strike. This will be fun to watch. Obeavis and Horrible Harry supporters striking because of Obutthead and Horrible Harry. I better see if I have enough popcorn or if I have to go to the store and get more.

Union leaders have long voiced concern over the health care law’s effect on their Taft-Hartley plans, which are collectively bargained plans maintained by multiple employers and a labor union. Under the Affordable Care Act, Taft-Hartley plan recipients (like the members of CU 226) are not eligible for tax subsidies. That makes some union employees more expensive for employers who provide health care, making employers less agreeable when it comes time to foot the bill.

Taylor has been outspoken about his displeasure with President Barack Obama’s signature health care law for some time, going as far as meeting with one of his top critics, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, earlier this year. This is a far cry from how most union leaders have handled their Obamacare grievances — often toeing the line between admitting the law needs changes and actually criticizing the administration.

They bought the bullshit. Now they own it. They’re getting what they voted for. Good and hard. I love the smell of schadenfreude in the morning. It smells like vindication.

Elections have consequences. Maybe you idiots will realize that next election. You aren’t the only ones getting the shaft. Blacks haven’t had it this bad since the Carter administration, but they’re so dumb they keep voting for Dimocrats even though they did much better under Reagan and both Bushes. CHICAGO (CBS) — After having a meltdown early last week, Lake Michigan is now just over 90 percent covered in ice, which equals the highest levels ever recorded.

Really? I thought the planet was warming.

The lake was also just over 90 percent frozen in 1976, 1979 and 1994, according to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.

A small area of open water remained on the eastern side of the lake, well away from the Michigan shore.

He now recognizes what danger his legislation means for Dimocrat politicians but won’t admit it’s a piece of crap and have Congress repeal it. Reminds me of socialist dictators who keep doubling down on the failures of socialism, like Kim Yuk Fu, Fidel Castro, and Robert Mugabe.

There is simply no way he will ever get major sports or entertainment figures to be involved in such a program, and young black and Latino males won’t be interested in anyone else’s opinion. When did Fox News use a forged memo, like CBS did, to smear George W. Bush?

My sister (or her husband) sent me this sad story.

Explaining the latest and greatest powerful models available, I asked for a brochure or a one-page flyer on the model he was describing. His response was that the model he suggested was not in the store yet and that he had no information to give me. I asked him for a model number so I could research it myself on-line. He started to write the model number on a piece of paper and abruptly stopped.

I thought he was thinking of the model number, but to my surprise he turned to me and asked me, “How do I write the letter K?”

I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. I asked for his pen and I wrote the letter K. As I was writing, he explained that he rarely writes anything, and if anything needs to be written, he does his writing on the keyboard.

This is what we have digressed to.

And I thought it was bad that St. Trayvon of Skittle’s girlfriend, who was a 19 year old junior in high school, couldn’t read cursive. She’s on track to graduate before her 21st birthday. And that effete British snob, Piers Morgan thinks she’s a “smart cookie”.

Thanks Dimocrats and union teachers for destroying education in this country. (And they’re doing the same thing to healthcare.) Now it is perfectly obvious why an incompetent boob like Obungler could get elected not once, but twice.
