It would not suprise me if this Somalli teen ends up brain damaged. Over five hours at 39 thousand feet tends to lead to a severe case of Oxygen starvation. Of course it may be several years before anybody notices his damage, he is a teenager, after all. And how does he keep all of his fingers and toes with the outside air temp at 80 degrees below Zero? He might have been cuddled up next to a hot bleed air pipe from an engine to an A/C pack which would have warmed him a bit. The amazing thing about this story is not that he tumbled out of the wheel well on to the ramp, but that he didn’t end up floating in the Pacific as soon as the gear doors opened. He should be fish food.
