I’m wondering if the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation is printing these stories so we won’t be sorry for Food Stamp recipients. A few weeks ago they printed a sad story about this big fat cow on Food Stamps and the picture they showed had her chowing down on expensive crackers and expensive mayonnaise. This past week they had a sob story about this woman who lost her house due to the Great Recession and had to downsize to an apartment. She receives around $250 per month in Food Stamps. She’s also spending about the same amount for a storage unit to store most of her old furniture to remind herself of her middle class existence. WTF? She’s making about $1000 per month and she’s spending the equivalent amount of her Food Stamp money to pay storage fees for furniture she will prolly never use again and I’m supposed to feel sorry for her? Someone in The Vent this morning wrote that she should sell the furniture and pay for food. With decisions like she’s making, she’ll prolly never be middle class again.
