I hope he has good homeowners insurance ’cause he’s gonna need it. His house was totally flooded which will mean new carpets, new flooring, and new furniture, not to mention the potential for mold. He wrote that Pensacola officially got over 22 inches of rain. Yikes! Roads were washed out. Now come the after effects like the potential for diseases like cholera and tetanus. I wonder if Obungler is gonna show up? Prolly not enough black people to warrant a visit by the racist-in-chief. Is FEMA onsite yet? Remember how the Dimocrats and the LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party castigated Bush when Nawlins was flooded?. Will they hold Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade to the same standard? Are you kidding?
Here in Atlanta, we were supposed to get five inches of rain. Then they dropped it to two inches. We got next to nothing. This is yet another reason why I think AGW is BS. People who can’t forecast the weather one or two days ahead are the same people claiming they can forecast weather ten or twenty years from now. I’m worried a lot more about global cooling than I am about global warming. Meanwhile, we’ve got the EPA shutting down coal fired plants because of junk science. With all of the shutdowns we lose excess capacity of our electricity grid. Hello brownouts and blackouts!
Remember Oboner said he was gonna fundamentally transform this country. Yeah. He’s trying to fundamentally transform the most prosperous nation in the world into a Third World banana republic. Look at all of the countries in the world ruled by a black man. They’re all Third World shitholes. That’s what Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade wants to turn America into and he’s succeeding. We have more poverty, especially black poverty, than we did when we elected Obutthole. You blacks voted for it and you’re getting it, good and hard. We have more and more people giving up trying to find work and dropping out of the workforce. What recovery? The LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party keeps predicting a “recovery summer” every year and every year they are wrong. If a Republican had this record they would be screaming and calling for his scalp. Bush 43’s economy looks pretty good now doesn’t it? Remember how Horrible Harry Greed, Speaker Blinky, and Obutthead ranted at how bad the economy was? Yeah. Me too. Bush’s recovery was a “jobless recovery” when unemployment was under 5%. What does that make Oblamebush’s recovery?

I’ve said it B4 and here it is again. I’m 57 years old now and I miss the wonderful nation that I grew up in. I won’t mind dying in the next few decades.
Oh, man. Boy, do I ever feel for Ron. There is nothing, and I mean nothing worse than water damage. When I bailed out from Dearbornistan a few years back to my new digs about a half of it flooded. A pipe froze due to a power outage the week of the move in December. Luckily, all my possessions were still at the old place, and simply shipped to storage. Still, the water remediation process is a royal pain in the ass, then the insurance companies start their cheap shit trying to cut corners. Seven months of dealing with contractors and $55,000.00 in insurance checks later, everything was restored for occupancy at AlphaDelta Central.

We did not have a spring here, yet. Cold, windy, rainy everyday. Sometimes, a few snowflakes in the middle of the night. I still wear my winter clothes and I’m freezing. We’re already in the ice age as far as I’m concerned.
We had some pretty good Snot-Slingin’ Thunderstorms here in Beautiful Downtown Bugtussle this past week… Fortunately, nobody died..
Unless Ron has bought into the FEMA Flood Insurance program he will find that there is no homeowners coverage for flood. The insurance industry just doesn’t cover that kind of risk and they persuaded the government to assume responsibility for insuring flood damage. Just one more way the industry can take your premium and not pay for your loss.

Alice – I hope everything works out OK. Atlanta was supposed to get a lot of that rain but it looks like you got every bit of it. We got nothing. Ron has been giving me updates on his situation. He’s been working like a dog. If I were a religious man, I would be praying for all of you folks who got hit hard by the weather, instead, please know that my thoughts are with you.
