One of the really neat things about Def Leopard is what they did after their drummer lost an arm in an accident. They didn’t replace him. They waited until he learned how to play drums with only one arm and they were back in business. Isn’t it nice listening to bands where they have guitarists who actually know how to play lead guitar rather than banging on power chords?

Very good song and a good group. I remembered what happened to the drummer. They waited until he got better, then released “Hysteria” One of the best albums of the 80’s
The loss of the drummer’s arm may indeed have made the band even more mindful of the primacy of such fundamental artistic and musical principles as space, rests, syncopation, range, contrast, dynamics, and perhaps most important of all, “less is more.”
Of course having a producer like “Mutt” Lange produce it a well made it that much more a keeper
Mutt Lange is a great producer. He turned Shania Twain from a star to a superstar.
