The Liberian who brought it into this country just died. What’s gonna happen when Ebola enters Latin America? Since we have Obola, Dimocrats, and RINOs who refuse to secure our southern border with Mexico, Ebola patients will be able to enter this country unimpeded. And why not? We give our illegals free health care. Why wouldn’t people infected with the Ebola virus want to come here. Other countries are refusing to allow people from the countries where Ebola is to enter their countries. Not Obola. Thanks uninformed voters for electing this disaster.
I’m 4th generation American who’s great, great Grandparents were screened for diseases coming here from Eastern Europe. If people even had the sniffles in those days, they were turned away. WTH has happened??

His point, of course, was that we’re endangered because people make mistakes, as the hospital did who released the guy at first and sent him home with antibiotics.
I agree with him mostly, because sooner or later some dipshit is gonna make a big goddam mistake and cause a spread. It’s like that Spanish nurse who came down with it even tho she was wearing proper hazmat gear — what they think may have happened is that even tho she knew the proper protocols and precautions, she involuntarily touched her bare skin with her gloves after touching an infected patient and then not telling anyone.
The other theory is that she did everything right, but somehow managed to infect herself while removing the hazmat suit.
Best laid plans, lads & laddies, gang aft agley. Given the chance, people WILL fuck up, and I’m not entirely certain we’re getting all the straight skinny from the CDC and various “experts” anyway. Sending our military personnel over there to get even reMOTEly involved in testing people in the affected regions is REALLY dumb, even dumber than the justification: “We need to stop it over there so it won’t spread over here.”
Say, WHUT? What’s this “We” shit! First we’re globocop and now we’re globodoc? Where are all the Muslim nations with all their mega-megabucks and humanitarian Islamic concern for people? They’re a lot friggin closer to the source of the infection than we are, and their docs are mostly educated either here or in Britain or France anyway.
Seal the friggin borders, goddamit. And while we’re at it, establish congressional term limits . . . before it’s too late.

Well, patient Zero just became fatality number 1. Because the much vaunted health care system failed and sent a symptomatic ebola suffer back to his family for three more days, I’m sure that he will not be the last. The Idiots of the Obama administration say we can’t put an entire continent into quarantine we are not even putting the three worst ebola affected nations on a non entry list. They talk about containing the outbreak to west africa after we already have a dead victim that spent three days with his family after he showed symptoms. Insanity.
Here is something to consider, how may people did Victim 1 come in physical contact with during those three days! Consider this if it takes 21 days for the disease to manifest itself, how may of those 21 days is the victim a potential carrier?
So what happens to the body of fatality #1? Do they embalm it? Do they have an open casket funeral for the family mourners? What do you do with the remains?
Are the remains still a vector for the transmission of the disease? Will cremation really, really “kill” the bugs?
