Yep! The polls were all wrong.
How wrong were they?
I’m glad you asked polling place breath. Here in Georgia they kept saying that Michelle Nunn Martin was close to David Perdue. Some polls even had her ahead by two points and that the Georgia Senate race was heading towards a runoff. It wasn’t even close. Perdue killed her, even with all of those ads about him outsourcing jobs overseas. Even having her dad and Zell Miller in her ads didn’t help. Georgia voters have wised up to Dimocrats running as conservatives because they know there are no longer any conservative Dimocrats. They’re all liberals progressives rat bastard commies and Michelle Martin wouldn’t have been any different.
The Georgia governor’s race was the same. Jason Carter was relying on his name. He had nothing to show for his time in the state senate. He was using his grandfather’s name and money contacts. Deal killed him.
For more on the polls, an actual journalist, Don Surber, put up a post about it. An excerpt.
In Alaska, Republican Dan Sullivan was up by 2.4 points. He won by 3.7.
In Arkansas, Republican Tom Cotton was up by 7 points. He won by 17.
In Colorado, Republican Cory Gardner was up by 2.5 points. He won by 4.2.
In Georgia, Republican David Perdue was up by 3. He won by 7.9.
In Iowa, Republican Joni Ernst was up by 2.3 points. She won by 8.5.
In Kansas, Republican Pat Roberts was down by 0.8 points. He WON by 10.7.

You think they may have oversampled Dimocrats? They usually do and this time they obviously did. Liberal bias? Naw. Whatever gave you that idea?
I think I speak for all people of Polish descent when I say we are getting really tired of being blamed for inaccurate or purposely skewed election predictions, even when its great news.
LOL! That’s a good Polish joke there.
As I figured Obungler blew the Republican tidalwave off yesterday. He’s basically like a brat who tells his parents: “Fuck off, I’m doing it whether you like it or not.”
And guess what?……………He’s going to ignore Congress and shove his maleficent dictorial agenda down America’s throat.
Why?
Because the national citizenry currently consists of about 80% of ignorant, self-oriented, electronics addicted drones.
If I’ve offended anyone my efforts have been rewarded.
I guess it was better than a landslide in the other direction. Now, will the Stupid Party start screwin’ up immediately, or will it take ’em awhile?
Have they ever been procrastinators?
To misquote Mark Twain: “There are lies, damned lies, and political polls!”
Sullivan hasn’t beaten Begich yet, as far as I know. Lots of absentee ballots to count. Lots of military ballots to be delayed in transit until it’s too late, and trunks full of Indian ballots to be discovered.
Testament to the fact that the only poll that matters is the one taken on the first Tuesday in November
