Voila! Islam. And Erdogan of Turkey speaks the truth. There is no such thing as moderate Islam or radical Islam. Islam is Islam. It declared war against the west 1400 years ago and is still fighting that war today. Islam knows it is at war with the West. Unfortunately, the West doesn’t realize this or refuses to realize this.
Denny, Excellent observation & it appears our Hollywood liberal s are prime examples as they snubbed the Movie”American Sniper”….I gotta wonder if any of these goldplated assholes even went to see the movie. At least they had the right presenter for Best movie to be the “snubber” when they dragged ” Wharf Rat” Shawn Penn out from under an abandoned dock somewhere to do the dirty work.
As for the Movie”American Sniper” …….it will be remembered long after “Birdman” is forgotten. I will never forget the somber hushed exit from the movie theater by those who watched the movie, a very powerful & telling statement for the impact the movie made on the audience with at least half misty eyed…the funeral scenes got to me.

Denny, if you get the chance, read the book Rogue Warrior, by Richard Marcinko. He discusses the retired Admiral, and the clusterfuck that was the barracks attack. It’s a damn good read.

Dick Marcinko is quite a unconventional dude & was always at odds with Naval Brass but he got things done .
I read Rouge warrior & several others & felt much had to be fictionalized particulary where he described scouting & testing perimeter security at Naval bases .
He wrote in his book about New London Groton Nuclear Sub base & how he breached the Perimeter.
Well I once worked closely with some people associated with Naval Nuclear Sub Propulsion systems who spent much time there & asked about Marcinko`s version.
One chap said…No comment & another who stated it was pretty much as portrayed in the book..

I’ve met Marcinko, twice when he was in the Mitten State. Once when he happened to be in town at a nearby bookstore signing his second book Red Cell (fictional), and shortly after that, the other when he was in doing consulting work at DTW airport. The dude is definitely a larger than life character still wired in with folks who I would not want to screw with, and there’s little doubt in my mind that .FEDGOV put a reminder on the man’s place on the food chain with that little stretch in the hoosegow. Other than that, he’s a shitload of fun to have a cocktail with.

We shouldn’t have even been in Beirut in the first place. We put the Marines in there to allow the PLO to escape before the Israelis wiped them out. We could have solved a lot of problems if we had taken the leash off of the Israelis. Right now, I’d like to give them tanker support so they could refuel their jets for the round about flight to get to Iran to wipe out as much of their nuclear capabilities as they can. We should have wiped Iran off the face of this planet as soon as we got our diplomats back whom the Iranians took as hostages in violation of international law. I remember listening to a sports call in show in St. Louis when the hostages were released, and the guy on the show (I think it was Jack Buck, Joe Buck’s dad) announced that the hostages were on a flight home and he said there should be some flights heading the other way delivering some bombs to the Iranians, special delivery.
Eliminate their rock (ka’aba), which everyone of those stinkbeards and ragheads must make pilgrimage to hajj at least once in their lifetime, and its over. No rock = no allah. They’re just pirating misogynist child raping murders. The end.
