From my friend Pres. (more…)
AOTW 3-13-2015
Didja hear that two cops got shot in Ferguson right in front of the police station the other day? Yep! And we can lay the blame for that right at the feet of Obungler and Eric My People Holder. They wanted to foment racial discord and that’s just what they did. I never thought I would see the day that we would have a president who hated this country. I never thought that our first black president would be a racist asshole who hates white people. Turns out he’s not any better than Jesse Hymietown Jackson or Al Tawana Brawley Crown Heights Riots Freddie’s Fashion Mart Arson Sharpton. Just like those two racist demagogues he’s a RWPP. He’s a total disgrace as is our first black attorney general. They get to share the AOTW Award this week. Thanks uninformed voters for voting for this asshole.

Today’s Racist Post
I admit it. My posting this week has been crap. I received my towel warmer today. Yay! And I’m still basking in the glow of the completion of the Great Master Bathroom of Dunwoody. Been loading up the drawers and cabinets with stuff. Gotta get a little soap dish to put in the alcove with my shampoo and conditioner. Gotta get a bath rug for outside the shower. Gotta figger how to get my line of credit balance down from the expense of my new furnace and the Great Master Bathroom of Dunwoody in time to do my outdoor project in the Fall, a patio extension and rock borders for my beds. I’m hoping to be able to have the money to do the Great Master Bedroom of Dunwoody next year at this time. So, here’s a post from Ron which many people will think is racist. Any criticism of the entitled class and their “leaders” is automatically racist by definition, right?
Ron writes (with my comments in italics).
Being different from each other is perfectly fine as far as I’m concerned . . . taste in music, food, literature, custom, tradition, and so on. Many “isms,” including racism, are also perfectly natural for us and come from survival mechanisms based on the safety of the tribe or clan or religion or race or whatever we lived in.
But having differences doesn’t mean we can’t share common things, such as language, borders, history, education, laws, government . . . the things which help us establish and maintain order in society. A person can prefer bluegrass over classical music, or iguanas over cats, or Toyota over Chevy trucks, or Buddhism over Catholicism and still be a loyal, patriotic, productive American.
No matter how much time and energy and resources we expend in the effort to eradicate racism, it’s going to exist, and we might as well face it and learn to live with it. Koreans will tend to live around other Koreans. Italians around other Italians. Pakistanis around other Pakis. Greeks around other Greeks. Blacks in America feel more comfortable in black communities, and whites generally prefer to live in white neighborhoods. And I’m not sure that makes ANY of those groups insidiously racist or inherently dangerous to the others.
Pigeons flock with pigeons, mullet school with mullet, and goats herd with goats. That doesn’t automatically mean that pigeons will try to kill and eat sparrows or that mullet will drive out sea trout or goats will enslave sheep. Some species naturally compete with or prey upon others; not much we can do about that, either.
But basically a group or a flock or a tribe or a herd will congregate along lines of similarities, even when they’re of the same species. Wolves or lions or wild horses establish territories which they protect against other wolves or lions or horses. People have been doing the same thing for millennia.
And . . . living in a world withOUT differences, one in which everyone looked the same, wore the same clothes, ate the same foods, played the same music, thought the same things, DID the same things would be dreadfully boring. In fact, it would closely resemble life in prison.
America’s problems with racism have been steadily improving over the past 50 years or so, until the last 6, that is.
Yep! The first black president was supposed to bring us together, at least that’s what he said when he campaigned. Instead, he has driven us apart. His wife said after he got the nomination that this was the first time in her adult life she was proud of her country. Really? This was a country where she attended an elite Ivy League university. Can she name another country where this would have happened? It certainly wouldn’t have happened in a majority black country. This is a woman who hates white people. She has a chip on her shoulder the size of a 2×4. No make that a 6×8. Her children get to attend an expensive private school. Her brother is a highly paid college basketball coach. Her husband has never missed a chance to stir up racial tensions from Henry Louis Gates, to the the black son he never had, St. Trayvon of Skittles, to the black thug, St. Michael of Swisher Sweets. He didn’t send anyone to Margaret Thatchers’ funeral but he did send three people to St. Michael’s funeral. A giant of the 20th Century? Nope. A thug? Yep.
Many ethnic groups have fully integrated into and thrived in mainstream American society, among them the east Asians. Hispanics generally tend to do well in the US if they stay in school long enough to learn something and then avoid street-gang activity.
Blacks, however, have become their own worst enemies in overcoming professional victimhood and attitudinal stereotypes. Much of that is learned behavior, primarily from LBJ’s social reform programs. They learned long ago that a woman can get much greater benefits from government if she has no available husband to help her care for a houseful of children.
The irony here is at the same time they got civil rights established by the Constitution which would enable them to assimilate easier, the black pride back to Africa movement happened. “I’m black and I’m proud. I’m African-American. Isn’t it amazing that immigrants from other countries assimilate by the second or third generation while blacks who have been here for generations refuse to? It’s all bwcause of Slavery® or 400 years of oppression or other excuses. Slavery® ended over 150 years ago. Quit using it as an excuse for your failures.
Black mothers have learned that they can live much better with housing subsidies, food stamps, and welfare checks than they can from ordinary 9 to 5 jobs. Racebaiters such as “Reverend” Jackson, “Reverend” Wright, “Reverend” Sharpton have urged them to continue to vote for Democrat leaders although statistics clearly show they were better off under conservative leaders such as Reagan and Bush than under their Magic Negro, Barack Soetoro.
They are doing far worse under Obungler than under any president since LBJ. How’s that for irony?
Take a look around the lower 48 states and identify the worst urban areas, the ones with high crime rates, crumbling infrastructure, mounting debt, and disintegrating ghettoes and you’ll find that virtually all of them are controlled by Democrats. LBJ hit the nail on the head with his “ [. . .] we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. . . . I’ll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years.”
That quote has been disputed by some, but its essence is the reality: the worst thing that ever happened to blacks has been government interference through Welfare, Food Stamps, housing subsidies, and quotas for the EEO and scholarship positions. And the worst part of all has been the knee-jerk reactions by Soetoro in every case involving race, including his Attorney General’s habit of throwing gasoline on the fires in the St. Trayvon of Skittles, St. Michael of Swisher Sweets, and St. Eric of Marlboro Lights cases.
In fact, the shootings of police officers last night in Ferguson are a direct, not a tangential, but a direct result of Holder’s claim from the very start that all the problems in Ferguson, Missouri, stem from racist attitudes and behaviors by the city government and its police personnel.
Well, those shootings certainly won’t do blacks any good with most reasonable people, the ones who can see who is actually responsible for stoking the fires of racism – the Jacksons, the Sharptons, the Spike Lees, the Holders, the Soetoros. Most of us understand why blacks represent only 14% of the nation’s population but make up almost 40% of prison populations: because they commit more crimes per capita than white people, especially violent or “street” crimes.
In St. Louis they make up about half of the population while comitting more than 80% of all of the violent crimes, from armed robbery to murder. St. Louis often has the title of Murder Capital of the US for the highest rate of homicides per capita. In St. Louis, or Chicago, or Detoilet, more blacks are killed by other blacks in a week than the number of blacks killed by white police officers in a year. Tell that to the idiot holding the Black Lives Matter sign. Black lives only matter when it’s a white cop who kills a black dude. When blacks kill other blacks? Nothing to see here. Move along.
As a young man, I was very liberal, particularly in my views toward race. The few black people in the little town where I grew up were friendly, and their children were good students, good friends. The Mexican kids were just normal kids who knew how to speak Spanish AND English and had some interesting foods and customs that were different from many other families’.
My high school was integrated. We had no racial problems, but this was the early 60’s and the black kids came from two parent homes.
One of my girl friends during high school was a Mexican named Florestellita, and the guy I spent most of my free time with (not including sports) was Raul De La Rosa. The only wife I’ve ever had, and a damned good one, too, is Southeast Asian. My children are mixed race, and proud of it.
But as I got older, the Navy decided (with urging from government) that I needed to be indoctrinated on race relations along with everyone else on active duty at that time. We had to attend seminars and workshops and lectures on equal opportunity and law and fairness and all that. One of those was UPWARD, a two-week intensive classroom program identifying such evils as racial profiling, myth, prejudice, misunderstanding, and what the Constitution actually means (as opposed to what it actually says).
The facilitators
Any time you walk into a classroom and the teachers are called “facilitators” you know it’s gonna be a long day.
were skilled at heaping guilt upon white attendees and evoking pity for the poor blacks among us. To avoid laboring the point, I’ll just say that by the time the two weeks were finished, all of my original liberal perspectives on race had evaporated like a dollop of chocolate ice cream on the hood of a 1949 Merc that had been sitting in the sun all day in July, leaving nothing but a sour, sticky, unpalatable blotch on the surface that could never be removed.
Today I don’t dislike blacks. But I dislike most black leaders, especially the Jacksons, the Sharptons, the Wrights, the Holders, the Lees. I don’t trust young males out at night or in groups in seedy neighborhoods even in daytime, whether they’re white, black, or Latino. I was a young male once, and I did some really boneheaded stuff. And I’m certainly not convinced that white cops get up every morning thinking how they can victimize black people or get away with shooting some non-white kid in the street.
Also, I’m not convinced that profiling is a bad thing, especially when WELL over half the violent crime in a country that is over 60% Caucasian is done by blacks and Latinos. It stands to reason that most of the inmates will be black or Latino if they’re the ones killing, robbing, or raping people. Or put another way, not all Muslims are terrorists, but try to name a terrorist act in the past couple of decades that wasn’t done by Muslim males.
Profiling is common sense, but we can’t have that can we?
I’m tired of hearing about the need for a “conversation” on race in this country. We’ve HAD that conversation, over and over and over, and what it means is that black troublemakers want us to listen while they enumerate their list of grievances and demands. There’s a lot of wisdom in that sign you see in national parks:
This was proven in Nawlins after the hurricane hit and the black people didn’t have a clue how to take care of themselves without the gummint.
Odds And Ends
So much going on and not in the mood to write a long post so here’s some odds and ends.
Turn about is fair play. GOP hates Obungler more than a nuclear Iran. Well, Obumbler hates the GOP more than a nuclear Iran. And whatever happened to “dissent is the highest form of patriotism?” I remember Thunder Rodent Thighs screeching that. I guess that only holds true when a Republican is president, yannow just like it’s OK for a president to shred the Constitution if he’s a Dimocrat.
A Clinton is lying? I’m shocked! Shocked I say! Thunder Rodent Thighs is lying through her teeth again. She’s pretty much been doing it her entire life. She was fired from the Watergate committee for lying, unethical behavior, and attempting to subvert the Constitution.
Thanks to Bill Quick for the two links above.
Quote of the day comes from Chris Wallace when he asked Lanny Davis, “Do you ever get tired of cleaning up after the Clintons?” Best answer from Don Surber (Number 3) “Pays well, hours are light, you get to be on TV a lot, and perpetual job security. I’d say the answer is no, Chris”. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Speaking of job security, what about those booger eatin’ moh-rons of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Oklahoma and their little racist ditty?
There will never be a nigger at SAE
You can hang him from a tree,
But he’ll never sign with me.
There will never be a nigger at SAE.
There’s some job security for professional black racists. Really? WTF is wrong with you dickheads? Here’s a brilliant idea, let’s do a racist chant on a bus with a lot of people where it can easily be recorded on a cellphone. Really? Don’t you guys realize it’s only black people who can demonstrate overt racism? For whites it’s a mortal sin. Al Tawana Brawley Crown Heights Riots Freddie’s Fashion Mart Arson Sharpton is ecstatic about this. So is Jesse Hymietown Jackson, Oblunder, Eric My People Holder, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the rest of the RWPPs. You dunderheads deserve everything that you are gonna get for this.
Off to the store.
Taxes
Finished up my taxes today. Owe some money to the feds but that is covered by the money I’m getting back from Georgia. Since I’m a SRF and have investment income, I have to pay estimated taxes every quarter. Yannow, the one thing that would make people rise up in arms is the abolishing of withholding. Then people would actually see how much they are paying in taxes. Ask one of your friends or coworkers how much they’ve paid in taxes. Here is the number one answer: “I didn’t pay anything. I got money back.”
Those of us who have investment income, or those of us who are self-employed (They really get screwed since they have to pay twice as much FICA as people who have jobs) know what we pay since every quarter we have to send a check to the gummint. Then, if we don’t send enough money besides having to send additional money on April 15th, we have to pay a fine if our estimated taxes are too low. Withholding is the second biggest scam run by the gummint. The first? Social Security, but that’s a topic for another day.
By the way, now that I’m collecting Social Security and I am on Medicare, I think the FICA taxes should be raised. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Eye Test
Toejam sent me this little test.

The School of Psychology , Harvard University , recently conducted a public survey
called “What really do you see?” People were asked to focus their attention on a very
simple picture, and then asked if they had noticed anything odd.
Now, you have the chance to take part in this survey. Study the picture for 1 minute;
then reveal what you see that is unusual.

More Pictures
Here are some more pictures of The Great Master Bathroom Of Dunwoody. I took these in daylight so the lighting was much better. I also didn’t shrink them before uploading. Click on the images to enlarge.
This is the roll under sink which I will use most of the time. When I first moved in, I found a nice stool to sit on where the legs slanted back so I could get close to the sink. After that went, I couldn’t find one the right height or one that would let me get close enough to the sink. Now, this is perfectly crip accessible. This shot also gives a better look at the granite I selected for the counter tops and shower.
This is the tile I selected for the floor and around the tub.
Here is the light fixture that is over my sink. You can see the blue that I had the bathroom walls painted. The other vanity has two sets of lights. I chose these from some samples my sister sent me. One of the project manager’s foul ups was not having these fixtures at the start of the project. I told him before the project started that I wanted him to have everything he needed before he started work. I did not want to see any day when no one was working in that room. When the time came to install the lights, he found out they needed to be special ordered. It took ten days to get them. Inexcusable! I’ve worked on and planned multiple hardware and software IT projects so I know what goes into project management. It was inexcusable that I had to get the owner involved to get this project back on track. The owner made a great recovery.
A better shot of the shower with the frameless glass door. I had them put in a little alcove on the wall for my soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Not only is there a hand held shower feature, it has a regular shower head for normal people. In my old shower, the handheld device just hung there. Now, there is a place to stow it.
Here’s a good shot of the cabinets. They had to up the estimate because I picked out more expensive cabinets than they thought I would. These are top of the line. Even tho’ white is back in vogue, I went with off white. Someone on the other post remarked that I would have to live a long time to get a return on the investment of this upgrade. Kitchens and bath upgrades give you the most bang for your bucks, but I will never get back what I spent on this bathroom. I don’t care. Remember, I’m a SRF. I’m gonna live in this house until I die or have to enter a nursing home. I like nice things. What’s bad about this project, is it makes the rest of the house look like crap.
Next indoor project? My bedroom.
