Saw this letter in this morning’s Atlanta Urinal and Constipation from Joyce Carroll from Marietta an apologist for the black teachers int the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal.
Regarding “Stiff punishment” (News, April 15), as a citizen of this great country, I have been appalled by a justice system that I believe is split in two: one for White America, and one for Black America. It is especially reflected in our sentencing system. I am bewildered by the criminalization of the teacher cheating scandal in Atlanta. Where has our humanity gone? I do believe that had those women been white — a reflection of many of your wives, mothers and sisters — there would have been a totally different outcome, only suspensions and probation.
How would we know? None of the teachers involved in the cheating scandal were white. Find us some white teachers who cheated and then we can discuss the sentencing. Until then cram your racist bullshit up your ass!
Our democracy can no longer tolerate biased judges like Jerry W. Baxter. That is a position that is supposed to hold the “balance” of life in its hands. It is not a position that sees only black and white. It is the likes of this that is stunting our democracy and the growth of this great nation.
Pure bullshit! You wanna talk about race? Howza ’bout all of the black children whose lives were ruined by these teachers? Don’t you have any concern for them? How would you feel if it were one of your children whose future was destroyed by these dooshbags? But you don’t have to worry. You live in Marietta which has much better schools than the APS. The teachers in your children’s schools (if you have any children) don’t have to cheat because they are actually educating the children rather than giving the children the answers or erasing the answers and marking the right answers. Geez! Sorry Joyce but you an apologist for incompetence and cheating. Some of these people, like Tamara Cottman deserve a stiffer punishment than they got. You’re an idiot! GFY!
Most of the racial indignation I see and hear about on the news is a pigment of some professional victim’s imagination.

As soon as you said this is a “democracy” you lost me. I refuse to debate anything with anybody that stupid.
And judges are SUPPOSED to see things in “black and white”, AKA “guilty or not guilty.”
For a little boy in the first grade who is having trouble reading at at all, to come home from school with a report that he’s reading at the fifth grade level, is a crime only a booger eatin moron would commit. It just shows what their priorities were. To selfishly think of only themselves on the backs of these children.
This was a jury trial. A trial by their “peers”. Would love to know the race make up of that trial. I’m betting >50% non pigmentally challenged. Well there goes the race card accusations.
