The rhythm guitarist/leader of Scorpions is Rudolph Schenker. His younger brother, Michael Schenker, who was the star of the British band UFO at age 18 -21, is the real musical genius of the family. Do yourself a big, fat favor and check out this video; it’s a live performance but the sound is incredible and there are close-ups of his left hand as he plays. Herr Schenker is a master of tone, vibrato, and phraseology.
