BALTIMORE —Five people were killed and as many as six others were injured during shootings Friday night and Saturday in Baltimore, police said.
Baltimore City police are operating on high alert after a spate of violence.
“The reality is over the last five days, our guys have taken off 10 guns in separate situations, our guys have served search warrants on North Avenue and taken off some bad characters there. We had a pursuit today around Mondawmin. The officers did a good job in making arrests out there. And earlier this week, unfortunately, in the Eastern (District), where we have some traditional gang violence, five were shot and officers engaged and took two of those guys to jail, so there’s a consistent pattern of officers doing a good job out here,” Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said.
And this was just Friday and Saturday nights. When this story was written, there were still two more days to go of Memorial Day weekend. I’m sure the body count will grow higher. Remember, black lives only matter when it’s a white (or a “white Hispanic”) dude who has killed them. It’s quite OK for blacks to kill other blacks, unless it’s a black cop. No protests or riots will occur as a result of these shootings. He is going to Cleveland to foment riots as a result of the white cop getting off for shooting the black dudes in the car that tried to ram him.
I imagine there were a few black dudes killed in St. Louis and Chicago over the Memorial Day Weekend as well.

BALTIMORE (WJZ)–It’s been a violent weekend in Baltimore after a surge of shootings–some deadly across the city.
Police say 29 people were shot, 9 of them killed over this weekend, adding to the record-breaking violence.
The shooting didn’t stop on Monday night after a 9-year-old boy and another man were both injured by gun fire in the 2900 block of Arunah Avenue. Police say the child was shot in the leg and another man suffered a graze wound to the head.
New police video of a person of interest in Sunday’s deadly shooting in Druid Heights. It’s one of several active investigations following a Memorial Day weekend riddled with gun violence across Baltimore City.

Like I have written many times, more blacks are killed by other blacks in a weekend in Chicago than are killed by white cops in the entire country in a year. Black Lives Matter.

I say we give the black “leaders”, politicians and community organizers every thing they want: no cops in black areas unless they are chasing a perp who committed a crime in the civilized part of the city.
