Rising To The Challenge: My Leadership Story by Carly Fiorina. Unlike Thunder Rodent Thighs, she did not marry her way to power and has some actual accomplishments. She went from secretary to head of a major corporation. And, she’s glib. Here she is on Seth Meyers responding to him bringing up that some one else bought the domain name carleyfiorina.org.

If you try to go to sethmeyers.org it takes you to her website.

  1. I like Carley a lot.

Rodent Thunder Thighs wouldn’t make a pimple on Carley’s ass.

    However,

The big shot the Democrats have already taken and will continue to use is the fact she shreded Hewlett Packard’s employee roll. Probably justified, but the Liberal Democrats won’t factor that in the hammering.

  2. The challenge of effectively running a huge, clunky corporation is presumably similar to the challenge of effectively running a huge, clunky government. Anyone reading this knows that the layoff count in isolation is not a meaningful measure of success. But I’d had the impression that Fiorina’s stewardship of HP was considered overall to be less than successful. Can anyone offer an objective summary of how well her HP adventure worked out, and who to credit or blame?
