I agree with AlphaDelta. Go to YouTube and check out their version of Highway Star. You obviously don’t know good rock music when you hear it. I realize I’m sounding like my parents but what passes for music today sucks big time. No talent. Where are the great guitar players like Satriani, Slash, Glenn Tipton, and Van Halen? Anyone can play power chords like Green Day does.
Had the privilege to see Hagar several times when Montrose was touring relentlessly early to mid 70’s. I had a buddy whose dad sometimes worked the gate at the civic arena and if we couldn’t afford tickets he could often slip us ticket stubs to get in. Saw dozens of shows that way
The first time I saw Sammy was right after he split from Montrose and took the bass player and drummer with him, i.e. everyone but Montrose. He opened for Ted Nugent and he stole the show! Ted had to really up his game. That was in St. Louis. St. Louis loved Sammy and Sammy loved St. Louis! Since then, Sammy has recorded some videos in St. Louis. Just recently I posted one.
All-star lineup with Joe Satriani and Michael Anthony! Plus a drummer who apparently was asked to mimic Alex Van Halen’s look and mannerisms.
Your ignorance is showing.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that was Chad Smith. He’s got a long list of accomplishments.
Hey Rish, you POS. So he didn’t know who he was and you call him ignorant? Fuck you asshole.
they suck
Ya, well, when *suck* guys like Sammy are dead, all you’re going to have left is assclowns like darious rucker playing Hick-Hop.
