Yep! You booger eatin’ moh-rons demanding $15 an hour for working at a fast food place will price yourselves out of the market so instead of getting $15 an hour you will get 0$ an hour. And I also say that if you are working at a fast food place over two years and are not in management, then you are a loser. In some of these sob stories they interview people who have worked at places like KFC for eight years and are crying because they can’t afford a family on that money. Guess what? You’re not supposed to. That’s an entry level job. If all you can do is fry chicken or flip burgers there’s sumpin’ wrong with you. You should be going to night school and learning how to do a real job.
When I was going to college, I worked part time delivering flowers. One of the drivers was in his forties and this was his full time job. I really felt sorry for him that this was the best he could do. He couldn’t do anything else. What’s more, he could only do one route. I could do them all. I went full time after I dropped out of college (I was burned out from working three jobs while going to school full time) and started looking for a real job. When I found one with IBM the owner wanted me to stay and asked what it would take. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He might have been able to match the starting salary but he wouldn’t be able to match the benefits or the raise I would get after finishing training. I did go back and work on holidays for extra cash.
They get fired Obama will put them on lifetime welfare benefits which will double the $15 per hr, 40 hour week payout.
And they can sit home smokin’ crack and makin’ babies too boot.

When I started my apprenticeship to become a Tool & Die Maker, the wage was $1.00 per hour for 40 hours ..after taxes & a assessment of $5.00 to pay for the basic tool kit purchased for me my take home pay was $26.00 & change . I took several part time jobs , one in a gas station also at a buck an hour & a job my dad got for me at the Trucking company he drove for.
I worked loading semi trailers with top freight on third shift. Top freight was light shipments which was loaded on top of the heavy freight to fill the trailer to space capacity. Usually this Top Freight consisted of boxed toys from Louis Marx Company a once thriving business here in Erie.
This was a Union scale job & paid $3.68 per hour & I could have become an over the road trucker when I got to be 21 . I almost quit my apprenticeship but my dad said he would kick my ass if I did something that stupid.
So as a young man out of High School , I was a full time Apprentice working to complete my 8000 hour apprenticeship [ approx 4 years] , going to night school for tool design & drafting & with two part time jobs to boot . Not satisfied, I compounded the situation ,I got married …bad move that venture crashed & burned, fortunately no children .
Any way as you pointed out Education & hard work is usually the only way you move up the ladder of success , like you I did move up & became a Tool Maker ,Tool Designer, Tool Shop Foreman ,Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Manger of Tooling operations/Capital Equipment for a large Medical Equipment Manufacturer & now a small business owner.
I do not begrudge the fact I had to earn my way upward through education & hard work often at long hours.It is & was the accepted path to success..
What infuriates me is when the Magic Negro spouts off about success for people like me is due to white privilege. He certainly received far more privilege then did any white person I know let alone myself. That phony traitorous marxist bastard has led a life of privilege damn few people are ever gifted with & he hates this country apparently because of it. They’ve even managed to co-opt a handful of Indians to suddenly become offended with the 80 year old Redskins name. This fundamental transformation is in full gallop mode because nobody is tugging on the reigns and saying “whoa”
They tested some machines like that at Jack in the Box in the Seattle area about 5 years ago. I loved them. I’d walk in and there would be 2-3 people in line at the counter but nobody using the machine. I’d use the machine to order and not only did I get my food faster, I was able to customize the order far easier than at the counter. On top of it all, they were giving away free desserts for using the machine to order. I’d like to see more of them.
Yeah, we have Gas/Food stores here called Sheetz who have these . They work just fine ,Don`t miss any days from work , never complain, never will Unionize & always get the order correct.
One big plus is low income people”Welfare Parasites ” can`t use them , they do not accept access cards or food stamps.

This picture is how the McDonald’s restaurant in Charles DeGaulle airport in Paris operates. Went thru there on the 26th and you could pick your language and pay at the podium with card, or pay cash at the single cashier station. Your receipt had your number which you showed to pick up your food. Hundreds of people served every hour by about 7 total employees working. Coming to America soon!
