Yeah, knowatchamean. Been slowly cleanin out the fridge & freezers while Reggie’s off on her road trip. Found some chicken thighs and made myself a pot of adobo. Little dry, but not bad. Both dogs almost dry from their mornin bath, so I lay on the bed for a li’l nap and heard about the follow-up SCotUS uppercut after yesterday’s purely political 6-3 rabbit punch.

Made me think . . . some time back this nation built a transcontinental railroad at a time when no roads at all existed to get the materials on site.

Built the Panama Canal, which a leftie PotUS later gave away, for nothin.

Built Hoover Dam, the Golden Gate and Brooklyn bridges back when they said it was impossible.

Those projects would come in late and over budget today due to unions, OSHA, and the EPA. Look at how long it’s taking to rebuild the western part of the Oakland – Bay Bridge in San Francisco. Is it done yet? Look what replaced the World Trade Center in NYC. One sissy building compared to the Twin Towers.

Built the first atomic bomb and first nuclear power generators.

And now nuke plants always come in late and over budget like the additional reactor the Southern Company is building at Plant Vogtle in Georgia.

Built so many aircraft carriers I’ve lost track of the sequential numbers.

And I just read that now we are gonna contract with foreign ships because we do not have enough ships to transport our Marines.

Built a space shuttle system and an orbiting platform.

And now we have to buy slots on Russia’s Soyez capsules to put men in space and we never built a high orbit space station and the ISS will eventually crash into the ocean. We were too busy subsidizing poverty and trying to elevate blacks into the middle class.

And now we can’t build a friggin thing anymore. A 13% fragment of our society generates 70% of the crime and has an illegitimate birth rate even higher than that.

Dat be raycisss! But we elected a black man as president to prove we weren’t racist. That wasn’t enough. Now we’re gonna have to ban the Confederate flag. That won’t be enough. Our black Taliban will prolly have us blow up the carving at Stone Mountain here in Georgia. That won’t be enough. Howza ’bout reparations. That won’t be enough. It will never be enough. BTW, Fred has a great column on “White Supremacy” and “White Privilege”. He says he would glady pay reparations but in return, blacks would have to pay license fees to enjoy all of the stuff that white civilization has created.

Now, Cornel, I have often heard blacks demanding reparations for slavery. All right. I agree. It is only fair. I will pay a half-million dollars to each of my slaves, and free them immediately. I am not sure how many I have, but will try to give you an estimate in even dozens. Further, I believe that all blacks are entitled to a similar amount for every year in which they were slaves.

However, I think you owe us royalties for the use of our civilization, which can be regarded as a sort of software. There should be a licensing fee. After all, every time you use a computer, or a door knob, you are using something invented by us. Every time you sharpen a pencil, or use one, or read or write, you infringe our copyright, so to speak. We have spent millennia coming up with things–literacy, soap, counting–and it is only fair that we receive recompense.

The accounting burden would be excessive if we tried to distribute royalties in too fine a granularity, such as three cents per use of a boom box or a Glock, so we should probably use a bundled approach–so much per year for use of the wheel, refrigerator, and television. The amount could be deducted first from reparations payments and then automatically from EFT cards.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Here’s an idea. Instead of reparations, why not repatriations? After all, they insist on being called African-Americans, I guess to honor their African heritage or sumpin’ like that. Me? I’m proud to be just an American. Not an English-American. Not a German-American. Not even an European-American. Just an American. Since they like the African so much, even going so far as making up names that sound African, why not just a one way ticket to the African nation of their choice? We’ll even make it first class. So many of them hate the America white people created. Let’s let them live in the countries their ancestors created.

But I digress. Back to Ron.

We can’t protect our southern border, and we’re so far in debt we couldn’t get out if every industrialized nation on the planet went bankrupt except us.

We have become the land of the gay and the home of the broke.

Our allies don’t trust us and our enemies think we’re a joke. (rhyme accidental)

I wouldn’t know how to explain or apologize to Ben and Tom and George and Sam if I ran into ’em. Glad I don’t have to.

When asked by a woman at the end of the Constitutional convention what they had given the country Franklin replied, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” We didn’t. We’re done. A dictatorship within the next 20 to 50 years. Obungler is showing someone just how easy it will be just like Marius and Sulla showed Caesar how easy it would be to take over the Roman gummint and be dictator for life.

America has probably lasted longer then our founders envisioned but not nearly as long as it should have. when England declined & yielded its position of supremacy in the world ….the United States a nation guided by freedom & democratic principles was here to assume the mantle of leadership which allowed for the world to continue to advance for the benefit of any who championed freedom & independence. What we have given to the world will be remembered for centuries by those who survive the coming collapse of America
Future societies will ponder as to why the American people allowed this the greatest nation the world has ever known to decline & fall. Are humans always destined to fail? It certainly appears to be so if one thinks of all the civilizations which have failed with none to have ever survived the success they initially achieved.
Just who will be Americas successor & become the worlds leading super power? China, India, a revived Russia or a world wide Muslim Caliphate founded on the Islamic code, all come to mind with unimaginable consequences. It certainly appears likely the experiment with Freedom , Liberty & human rights is coming to an end.
The truth is there is no Country dedicated to any of the principles which created & guided this country is available & in a position to replace America & keep the concept of freedom , a belief for human rights& independent thought or actions going forward.
The brave new world envisioned by many will not be brave …tyrannical & savage is more likely & as for new?…..The Tyranny & Savagery is anything but new.
We are doomed!

I’m also descended from Charlemagne which is no big thing since about 75% of Europeans are as well. Which is the group of people most vilified in this country today? White people. The same people who settled this country and created the wealth and the power and the civilization of the United States of America. The same people who won teo world wars. The same people who put men on the moon. This was before NASA’s mission was changed to honoring Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) and Mooslime outreach. Now we can’t even send people into space. We have to pay Russia to do that. Eventually white people will be a minority in this country and this civilization will collapse. This will be “bad luck”. And it will prolly be blamed on white people.
