I remember back in the ’70s when the Jewish Anti-defamation League successfully lobbied to ban swastikas from model kits and box cover art. If you wanted decals for the tail of your Messerschmitt you would have to order them from an independent source (probably a Jewish-owned business that wanted a corner on the market, it suddenly occurs to me.) Anyway, it wasn’t long after that that the model kit industry was pressured by “concerned mothers” to remove depictions of violence, i.e. warfare, from box cover art. Also, about that time they were editing “violent and racist” scenes from Warner Brothers cartoons, and then not long after that we had to suffer the vapid company of Smurfs, a grotesque purple dinosaur, and one certain queer-as-a-three-dollar-bill SpongeBob Squarepants. And the kids who grew up with this stuff are now voting and raising their own families, many without fathers.
My point is, you give these cultural Marxists and their unwitting “useful idiot” soccer mom allies an inch, and they will take a mile every time, and now it’s come to this: the Confederate flag is to be substituted by a rainbow flag, all in the name of “progress.”
Um, that’s just the Confederate Battle flag. Waiting to see who can figure out the real Confederate Flag is flying from my pole when it finally arrives from back order.

Yep! That’s the one I’m talking about. The flag the perpetually offended people always are afraid of is actually the battle flag. The flag you linked to is the real Confederate flag. Of course, the perpetually offended people don’t know that.
I have to disagree with this one simply because it’s a slippery slope. Not just illegals fly the Mexican flag. Nothing wrong with honoring one’s heritage/ancestry.
If one national flag is banned then sooner or later all will be – in order to be “fair”.
So that means if the spirit moved me I would be unable to fly a Norwegian flag to celebrate my Scandinavian heritage.

Yep. It’s a trap. It is what The Left does to those who attempt to use their language and logic for anything other than mockery, which mockery is rather apparent in this post, is it not?
The point is if you’re gonna ban one flag you should ban them all. If there is nothing wrong with honoring one’s heritage/ancestry, there should be nothing wrong with the Confederate flag. There are many people in the South who refer to the Civil War as the War of Northern Aggression. Black people need to get over the Slavery bullshit. They were freed 150 years ago. There is not black person born in America today who has ever been a slave. There is no American born today who has ever owned a slave. Blacks were given equal rights 50 years ago. Due to Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) which is just renamed affirmative action, they are admitted into colleges over more qualified whites. They are hired over more qualified whites. If they are wallowing in poverty it is of their own doing and the Confederate flag has nothing to do with it. It’s merely an excuse for their own failures. When the flag is banned, it will be sumpin’ else. It’s always sumpin’ with these leeches and parasites.
Denny- I hope you’ll post a “trigger warning” before showin’ a picture of the LGBTQXYZ flag, as I’m assumin’ that it’s as offensive to myself and probably more of your readers as some of these flags are to the faint of heart out there.
