Even as gasoline prices plummeted and the overall energy price index calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics declined, electricity prices bucked the trend in the United States in 2014.
Data released this year by the BLS indicates that the electricity price indexes hit all-time highs for the month of December 2014 and for the year. 2014 was the most-expensive year ever for electricity in the United States.
The annual price index for electricity, published by BLS today, was 208.020. That was up from 200.750 in 2013.

This pope and his ilk see which way the wind is blowing and they are maneuvering to find a place at the table of the emerging New World Order and ensure the Church’s position amongst the world’s ruling “one percent.” AGW is a way for the Catholic Church (TM) to maintain the appearance that it is keeping up with the times and is still relevant, all while ostensibly serving the poor, addressing social ills and injustices, restoring its scandalized reputation, and maintaining its authority. (It doesn’t hurt its profit margin either.)

I having been a convert to Catholicism to appease my first & ex wife still try to believe the church is for the most part righteous & correct but events in the last several years find me more able to not only disagree on many points but to question the sanity & beliefs of many of the good fathers in leadership positions in the Catholic Church.
I try to live a good life albeit it a cynical one as regards welfare lizards & Democrats expect to ultimately arrive in heaven . I suspect some of the more familiar current leadership personages in the Catholic Church will not be there.
My father used tell me that the Catholic Church was the largest profit making organization in the world. Just look at their international headquarters. It makes me wonder how many poor could be fed if they sold off all of their priceless art at the Vatican? And not just the Vatican. The church that is the headquarters of the Jesuits is beautiful inside with a gold ceiling. Santa Maria Maggiori has Michalengelo’s Moses.
