A beautiful cantata. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Bach sounds so good on the guitar.
And as a bonus, another beautiful cantata. There are a few flubs where he doesn’t play some notes quite as cleanly as he should, but then he isn’t a John Williams or a Julian Bream.
You’re so right about Bach on the guitar. The sound has precision, clarity and lucidity. Qualities that you find in his music. Bach would have loved it. And I wish I had been younger than 75 when I discovered your music posts. I might have bought a guitar. As it is, all I can do is go to the piano and try to play a duet with your artists of the week. Hope they don’t hear! Thank you for the fun, and all I’m learning.
