Billings Montana
No, the Monday Pun is not gonna be about the bear in the bar in Billings.
I was in my hotel room last night reading and all of a sudden I heard some moaning. OMFG! The people in the room next door were getting it on! The woman was really enjoying herself, or, at least she sounded like it.
The drive today was windy as hell. All across South Dakota it was really blowing. I heard on the weather report on the radio that the gusts could get as high as 40 mph. It was that way almost the entire trip. I stopped in Rapid City for gas and the temp had dropped into the 50’s and here I was in cargo shorts and a polo shirt. What with the wind I was really chilly. Fortunately, I had put a coat in the car and was glad I did. Looks like I switch to jeans tomorrow. It’s supposed to get down in the 40’s tonight here in Billings. Glad I packed a flannel shirt. I remember back when I was a kid, we were out here in August and we camped in Denna Mora Campground in Montana and it was colder than hell. It looks like I’m gonna be driving right by it tomorrow. I just looked it up and it’s right off I-90.
I know this is not about the roadtrip, but then again it would be even less appropriate under the Boobage.
There is a trainload of people, and most of Europe, that can be very grateful that some courageous Americans were on that train when the Mohammedan brought out his gun. Well done, men: we salute you.
I 2nd that. Like I said on Facebook, hey France…..you’re welcome………again.
BTW Denny, looking forward to your report on the Going to the Sun highway.
And he train crew locked themselves into a compartment and wouldn’t let anyone in.
Denny – Wondering if our friend Prosper is saying “Merci!” with the rest of France.
Glad you’re enjoying your trip, except for noisy neighbors. Great opening for the joke about the candy salesman.
When are you going to swing through Washington? 🙂
I’m in Spokane right now but am going to see Grand Coulee tomorrow and then head to Glacier National Park.
If you are in Spokane, there is a pan Asian buffet you need to visit.
The wind always blows in SD and ND.
I’ve driven through North and South Dakota before and it has never been this windy.
Max Saturday wind gust according to KOTA-TV (Rapid City ABC affiliate) was 64mph. Low Sunday morning at the Airport was 38F. Some spots in the Black Hills saw frost Sunday AM and this morning (Monday). It was 41F this morning at my house, 4mi W of Rapid City. Winds and smoke are gone.
Denny, glad you could get some free porn there. Good for you. I am very proud of those Marines who subdued that gunman on the train in France. God Bless them. Stay warm sir.
