Now here it is on the piano, the instrument for which it was written. I just relearned how to play this on the piano. I could play it 30 years ago when I learned it for my second semester of Class Piano. Don’t remember it taking me as long as it just did, but I could sight read better back then. I’m still not very smooth but it just takes practice, and after watching this, I see that I have made two mistakes I need to correct.

I’m gonna give it to Rick Perlstein for for calling the POW-MIA flag “racist”. He’s another rat bastard commie asshole spewing lies about the Viet Nam War. So now he has come back and “apologoized” for using “racist” in his column.

I sincerely regret the use of the word “racist” to describe how the POW/MIA flag distorts the history of the Vietnam War. The word was over the top and not called for.

I doubt that. He’s just another rat bastard commie who likes to accuse people of racism. By doing so, it cheapens real racism. He continues.

I’m deeply sorry it hurt people—especially people who’ve selflessly served their country. Most of all, I’m sorry because many of the people offended by the word “racist” are the same people who were hurt when the experiences and feelings of common soldiers and veterans were manipulated to serve the powerful interests and individuals who blithely and perennially send men and women to war, then don’t take care of them when they return home. And, of course, I regret the pain caused to the families of those who gave the last full measure of devotion to their country in Southeast Asia.

I remember that it was people on the left, people like Perlstein, who not only didn’t support the military in the war but called them baby killers when they returned, and as not for taking care of them, who was running the country at the end of the war? Dimocrats. Yannow, the party that hates the military.
