I’ve never heard this song before. Thanks for linking it. They lost a lot when Price left the band. I loves me some bottleneck blues. That’s how slide guitar started. A broken bottleneck on an acoustic guitar down in the Mississippi Delta. There was a great slide guitar blues musician named J. B. Hutto who played in Chicago. Back in the late 70’s, he used to play occasionally at a club in St. Louis named after him where I discovered him and used to catch him every time he was in town.
One of my favorite bands when I was in high school. My friends and I saw then at the old municipal auditorium in KCMO a couple of times in the early 70’s.
Great song! The version from Foghat Live 1977 is the absolute best!

Agreed. Great album.
IN MEMORY OF “LONESOME DAVE” PEVERETT:

It’s a real shame to see some of these guys die so young. Lonesome Dave died at 56! And Rod Price died at 57! Makes me feel old.
Terraplane Blues is my all time favorite Foghat song!
