It’s easy to understand when you realize that liberals want to destroy America. Then it makes perfect sense. This goes right along with the idea that you need an ID to get on an airplane and buy booze but you don’t need one to vote.
Fortunately most of my weapons are hand me downs from my late Father and the ones I bought for myself in the late 70’s and early 80’s when I lived in W. Missouri. I never had to show an ID back when I bought them and Dad certainly didn’t. They are absolutely unknown to the Biggie Bro Govt.
Today, we have millions of unknown people running around the nation and NO ONE asks them for ID. If I wanted to buy a gun now, the background checks, I’d pass easily, but they are so intrusive I wouldn’t want to go through the ordeal.
I have a German Mauser left to be by my dad who brought it home from WWII.

Nope. I think it’s .762. I haven’t shot it in years. I really need to get it out, clean it, buy some ammo, and take it to the range.

Afterwards, I might even invite the most vocal of them over to inspect the barrel-end of my hand-me down guns too, per Rrddbb above. I have only once gone thru the background check routine but, that was two houses ago and while I was still working and reporting my everything, every year to the Feds. I’m sure that they could still find me if they had to but, it would be without the old info and I’m satisfied with my arsenal and stock that I too don’t believe that I want to give any updated, intrusive info away.
