My two favorite Spanish guitar pieces are Asturias and Recuerdos de la Alhambra. Last week I had Ana Vidovic playing Asturias. This week she plays Recuerdos de la Alhambra. I notice that she only uses two fingers when she plays tremolo. Most guitarists use three. I’m not the only one who noticed that. Other commenters did as well. One even said, “If she can do it, I can too.” Maybe I’ll try tremolo that way since I’ve failed miserably trying to learn three finger tremolo.
It is very enjoyable to listen to this lovely woman play.
My late Brother played guitar like her also. He was so damn good
at making his early 80’s Ovation guitar produce wonderful sounds as she
does.
I have his guitar in my closet.
Delightful!
