“Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.” – The Who

Paul Ryan. Yep! He’s really an improvement over John Boner isn’t he? The House just passed a huge spending bill that gives Obungler everything he wants. Defunding Planned Parenthood? Nope. Defunding Obummercare? Nope. Defunding Obumbler’s immigration policy? Nope. Defunding sanctuary cities? Nope. Defunding any Dimocrat program? Nope. Funding Obutthole’s global warming agenda? Yep! It’s kinda hard to think that the Republicans control the House isn’t it? Same goes for the Senate. They are so afraid of shutting down the gummint. They are afraid of the LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Parety and they are so afraid of Obongo. What a bunch of pussies. We send them to Congress to oppose the Dimocrats and what do they do? They cave. We got rid of Boner because he was a pussy and replace him with Ryan and it turns out that he’s a pussy as well. Way to go Paul, you asshole. It may as well be ex-Speaker Blinky running the House. Vote Republican. They’ll fix everything. Here’s your award Speaker Ryan.

  1. If only it was that they are afraid. They are part of a cabal to garner maximum wealth and power, right now. A mutually supportive termite colony eating away at western civilization.

  2. Mr. Bitter Beer Face sells us down the road. More concerning is the vote count in the house and Senate. Maybe we should just start a countdown clock to when our country officially eliminates the Constitution and openly becomes a socialist republic. Denny has lowered how many years he thinks the collapse will come, and he may even live to see it!

  3. You also need to add in the ISPs spying on us, and turning all personal info to the Gov’t, with complete immunity from lawsuits.

Instapundit noted an article quoting the White House saying that they got everything they wanted. We are supposed to vote Republican, why?

    • Why? Because our politicians have spent many decades structuring statutes called Public Acts, which aren’t Law but, they have in fact created the alleged two Party system we’re stuck with as enforced by the FEC.

The only option available now is to find/create the Third Party candidate who is running under the Republican Party banner, i.e., a Dave Brat, or, yes, my preference, a Donald Trump.

      UniParty.

    • To expand on my CISA note, it was apparently Paul Ryan who added it to the omnibus bill. So Boehner’s replacement has sold us out within the first few months, by giving the White House everything they requested, and by putting a broad based spy in it as as rider.

But I guarantee that in the coming months, we’ll be told, vote for X, as “it’s the most important election in history”, or “if you don’t vote you can’t complain”, etc, etc. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil, and what the GOPe is counting on. I’m tired of having my vote being taken for granted, and being treated as the enemy by the GOPe. As the quote goes, if only they would fight the Dems with the same intensity as they fight their own side.

      • A much further discussion on the CISA spying bill that was added to the onmibus bill.

        This is worth quoting:
This legislation was never needed. It’s only utility is for making information collection for government agencies an unfunded mandate that has to be paid for by the companies whose systems the information is transiting.

The purpose of doing this is to make the companies adding strong privacy features to their software, particularly mobile phone and tablet software, among others, responsible for, and punishable for not, revealing said information, on demand, and without warrant.

In other words, it’s an attempt to force companies to include back doors, or face fines when demands for information simply can not be accomodated to the governments satisfaction, for technological and mathematical reasons.
        and
The bill offers immunity to PRISM partners and telcos/ISPs who collaborate with the government to spy on US citizens. Snowden’s leaks raised the possibility that citizens would sue the private collaborators for betraying private data to the government without judicial oversight. Now, that can’t happen, because in the middle of a 2,000 page amendment to a budget bill the government has promised immunity to those who help the government spy on its citizens without a warrant.

        • Again, why would any of this be a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention?

          http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/10/19/second-video-revealed-paul-ryan-with-luis-gutierrez-america-is-more-than-our-borders/

Look, if one chooses to not have borders, then one has chose to not have a nation and should full damn well expect this “spying” as part and parcel of a push to global government. For the life of me, I have yet to understand how anyone could have ever thought Paul Ryan is anything other than the deceitful bullshit artist he is. His record has demonstrated it over and over.

As for Boehner’s replacement “sold us out,” well, you may want to take a good look at those who are allegedly on “the good guys” team: http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/10/house-freedom-caucus-justin-amash-endorses-paul-ryan-for-speaker/

Yep. That’s what a Liberaltarian will get you. Just like Random Paul campaigning for Mitch McConnell. Pandering fuckers.

          • Alpha Delta,
I challenged your non vote for Romney as a defacto vote for Obama believing Ryan would have a positive effect in a Romney Presidency.
It is obvious my belief for Ryan was wrong, his selection as AOTL is well justified & destroyed my belief Ryan had conservative credentials.
Hats off to you my friend…you were right. I may have thought a Romney/Ryan ticket was Conservative light, it is probable it would have been Obama light.

          • No worries, Mr. dudley1. I enjoy the discourse. Airing things out, well, it make me think. Hope it does for others, too.

  4. I will not vote for ANY incumbent in next year’s election, with one exception. I will vote for Ted Cruz because he is not running to get reelected to the Senate, but for President. Further, I would vote for any one of the several million fence posts in Montana and Wyoming before I would vote for Hillary.

    • Sorta curious here but, why would you think that a junior Senator would be campaigning for his reelection when his term does not expire until 2019?
