Great tune. You gotta love the twin lead guitars of Wishbone Ash. I wish more bands today would do that. Thin Lizzy had it, Iron Maiden has it to this day, but any young bands?
Judas Priest has it. Def leopard has it. The young bands don’t even have anyone who can play lead guitar. Where are dudes like Clapton, Page, Slash. Eddie Van Halen, or any of the other 70’s and 80’s guitar dudes.
I forgot about Priest and Leppard, but yeah, good point. Young bands don’t have real guitarists that can actually play. Guitar soloing went out of style in the early 90’s when wailing grunge rock took over.
There is some great stuff. Love Argus!
Yep! I have Argus and Live Dates on CD. Phoenix is a great song as well.
More “Brit Art-school rock meets Southern boogie”, but definitely good stuff.
Sweet music, indeed!

Haven’t heard this for a long time. Great choice.
Saw them about ’73 or 4 in the old Shreveport municipal auditorium (Home of the Louisiana Hayride: http://www.shreveportmunicipalauditorium.com).
I never even heard of them. But they are great!! Thanks so much Denny. Will have to get over to YouTube land listen to some more of their music.
