Once again, an entertaining post from Ron.
Poor guy. The three worst things that have happened to America in the last few years have been Pelosi, Reid, and Soetoro. You don’t have to go into Boehner, Clinton, Trump, and all the rest to see the root of the problem. Yes, I know . . . it started with Nixon and Slick picked at the scab, but Pelosi nailed the country’s left foot in place, Reid never did ANYthing that didn’t enrich him personally and impede progress in Congress, and Soetoro has had 7 years of OJT and still doesn’t have a clue how anything works.
The biggest piece of fraud, other than Soetoro’s sitting behind the Resolute Desk, is the “Affordable Care Act,” aka Obamacare.
The biggest waste of revenue and resources, other than the IRS and EPA, is the US Congress.
The biggest source of abuse, other than election fraud and PACs, is the entrenched entitlement system.
And the biggest scam ever foisted upon the public, other than the Social Security ponzi scheme, is global warming.
In a way I feel sorry for Clinton and Trump and Cruz and Sanders. I mean, hell . . . only a delusional, psychotic, unhinged, quixotic masochist would even consider riding this tottering horse down the greased slope toward economic oblivion and political fragmentation.
No matter who is elected this fall, at this time it appears it will be someone with virtually no success in management of anything except HYUGE personal income and deferential parasitical staffs. One is painfully oblivious of international affairs and sensitive social issues, and the other is completely ignorant of the meaning and value of ethics and morals.
We had a Jethro Bodine-like playboy for 8 years followed by a good guy who was in hazardous waters completely over his head and now a well-educated token who makes no sense and sees the world through distorted sepia-colored lenses set in racially oriented anti-American blinders.
I think it’s time for a general, one who can recognize the big picture and isn’t afraid to shoot, or at least fire, bloated toadies and limousine sycophants, a Patton type raised in Missouri or Kentucky or Idaho who’s shot at people and been shot at, a country boy with no connections to politicians or preachers or public figures, an American who has actually saluted the flag and swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic, and actually DID that for most of his adult life.
Failing that, I’d say invest your money in Indonesia, or Argentina, or India, or even Brazil, and become proficient in Chinese.

grego – Ron is a Navy veteran. He entered as an enlisted man, an ET like me, and then became an officer. When he got out he went back to college and got a masters degree. Then he taught college courses. If you think he hates this country you have a serious reading comprehension problem. He does hate the direction this country is going. Exactly why do you want to insult an intelligent (obviously more intelligent than you) patriotic American?
Perhaps, a little sensitive on this. I get grego. I get Ron. Ron is venting in a constructive way for Ron that takes advantage of his skill-set. I get grego, too. Much of the venting lately makes the reader want to wash their mouth out with a .38 by the time they reach the end of the piece it’s so goddamn nihilistic.
Seriously, it’s not all that bad.
If ever there was somebody who is perfect for addin’ quality stuff on Denny’s blog, it’d hafta be Ron. I doubt I could hold a candle to his ability to make folks mad at our dot-gov and laugh at the same time. Iff’n he hadn’t been a squid he’d be almost perfect.
Count me as being in that long line of GOC regulars who consider Ron to be the class act among contributors to Denny`s blog. All of us who post frequently here are in awe of Ron`s rants & immense talent to make the English language dance to the tune he chooses to play.
Denny has put together one hell of a blog which attracts some of the most capable & interesting posters anywhere on the Internet.I have been all over the internet & there are many sites I check into periodically, this is the best of best.
