I neglected to update all y’all about my Mother’s Day weekend. I drove up to Columbia South Carolina and spent it with my sister. To make her feel like a mother, I took her out to dinner on Sunday. I also let her nag me about my hair being too long and my shoes needing to be shined. Wasn’t that nice of me?
Is it safe to assume she is your older sister & picked on you a lot when you were children?
I have an older sister who delighted in telling Mom everytime I did something wrong …Being a very active boy that was quite often, the “Slingshot Vandal” who struck anonymously is still legendary in my old neighborhood though never caught. But I digress.
Anyway Sis is now my political confidant & one of my best friends., I assume it is the same for you.
My mother died in 2009. My only sibling is a 71 year old Liberal who I suspect is a Lesbian. We haven’t talked in a long time.
