A few years ago there was a huge scandal with the Atlanta Public Schools (APS). It turns out that too many kids could not pass the CTRE exams mandated under the No Child Left Behind Law. No problem. Some teachers gave the kids the correct answers. Other teachers simply changed the answers on the exams so more kids passed and were advanced to the next grade. Because it appeared that APS had done better, bonuses were awarded. The Superintendent of APS, Beverly Hall, got a big award. Statistically, the grades seemed impossible, which they were. An investigation ensued. Over thirty people were involved and the rot went all the way to the top. Fortunately for Beverly Hall, she died before the trials started. Many of the teachers and administrators copped a plea or agreed to testify against other teachers and administrators and lost their licenses but received little or no jail time. Three people are still fighting it proclaiming their innocence. By the way, every single person involved was black.
Now we have a new scandal. Josie Love, the principal at Carver School of Technology in Atlanta, back in 2015 ordered a secretaryt to give B grades to dozens of students who had been taught by substitutes and had not been given grades. The secretary refused. She lost her job. Other staff entered the B grades. So, did Josie Love get fired for this? Nope. The Atlanta school board voted unanimously to give her the job of the new strategic director for human resources for high schools. I guess that means she can help hire other ethically challenged employees like herself. Disgusting!
Bet she ends up runnin’ a University in Georgia, maybe even in Commiefornia. Did that secretary ever get her job back? Did they fire the employees who changed the records and gave the undeserved grades rather than be fired? Is Cankles a crook? I bet the answer to all three questions is the same.

Here in Erie the school system is broke & the solution according to them is more money from the State …..money solved everything , all you have to do is spend more & poof! the problem is solved.
Well the money ha snot been forthcoming so they now have resorted to threats ,
1. Going to cancel all School sports & extra curricular activities to save money.
2. Going to close all City High Schools & dump the students onto other school districts in Erie County outside of the City. Did not explain just who is going to pay for bussing, did not say why they think these other School districts will accept Erie students or who is going to pay for the cost to educate them.
3. If step`s 1 &2 are not adopted or the state does not increase funding….drum roll please! They will just have a massive Tax Increase!

Go ahead and cancel all school sports and extra-curricular activities. They are secondary to education. You didn’t mention it but the elephant in the living room, I’m sure, is that these are mostly black schools that are failing. The kids are from single parent homes and the parents take no part in helping the kids learn since they’re prolly mostly dropouts anyway. Plus there is the anti-achievement mentality in the black community that studying and doing well in school is “acting white”. You can’t teach people who don’t want to learn no matter how much money you spend. I believe Washington DC, which has some of the worst schools in the nation, spends over $15K per student.
Well there is a large contingent of Blacks in Erie Schools ….about 17% but the entire system is totally screwed here. That percentage begins to drop off at about 8th grade for while you need 12 years of school for a high school diploma an eighth grade education is more then adequate for a career in street crime.
You know we once had a requirement for at least a “C” average to be eligible for extra-curricular activities but it was deemed to be racist & scrapped.
Anyway I agree cancel school sports if it is no longer economically feasible,besides even this form of activity interferes with the ability to learn street thug behavior for the black students.
Kinda looks like we should never have given the black people the vote, huh? As a whole, they are a pretty irresponsible group I think.
