There was so much assholiness goin’ on this week that I’m not even gonna start listing it. But, we do have an example that far surpasses the rest.
Getting through the line at the TSA can be a long and uncomfortable process. For one Chattanooga teen and her mother, the process turned into a scary nightmare.
19-year-old Hannah Cohen was returning home from St. Jude’s Hospital with her mother for treatment of her brain tumor (a trip they had made for 17 years), when Hannah somehow set off the metal detector at the security checkpoint.
TSA wanted to do a further scan on Hannah, but she was reluctant. Hannah’s mother, Shirley Cohen, tried to inform the agents that her daughter was disabled. She is partially deaf and blind in one eye, paralyzed, and becomes easily confused. “They wanted to do further scanning, she was reluctant, she didn’t understand what they were about to do,” she said.
Despite her concerns, Shirley was kept away from her daughter by police. Hannah, obviously afraid, tried to get away from the grips of the TSA. “She’s trying to get away from them but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. There was blood everywhere,” said Shirley.
Yep! The goons at the TSA roughed up a disabled 19-year-old girl. The cops kept the mother away from the poor girl. JHFC! This is America? Some goons on a power trip treated this disabled girl like a criminal and drew blood. WTF is wrong with these people? The mother screwed up. She should have put her daughter in a burka and everything would have worked out fine.
The teen was arrested, booked, and sent to jail. “Here we were with nowhere to go, not even a toothbrush, our bags had gone to Chattanooga,” said the distraught mother.
The wrong people were arrested and sent to jail. It should have been the cops and the TSA agents involved in this fiasco.
Authorities have thrown out the charges, but the Cohen family has filed a lawsuit against TSA, Memphis Airport, and Memphis Airport Police.
And I hope they take them for a large sum. Heads should roll. Just out of curiosity, I would be interested in knowing the race of the cops and the TSA agents.
None of the accused parties would acknowledge wrongdoing, but TSA representative Sari Koshetz made a statement saying, “Passengers can call ahead of time to learn more about the screening process for their particular needs or medical situation.”
Bullshit! American citizens deserve to be treated with respect. Thanks Moslems for causing this shit. We constantly hear liberals screaqm about “common sense gun control”. Howza ’bout common sense airport screenings? The TSA makes me sick. This is one of the reasons I hardly ever fly anymore. This situation was inexcusable. Every TSA agent and every cop involved in this incident should be fired. That won’t happen, but they do get to share an AOTW Award.

I work for a major Atlanta employer, and I do fly as a benefit of my job. I have commented that the “Friendly Skies” are not soo friendly. I blame a lot of it on TSA, after getting prodded and poked, searched and possible having your stuff stolen, people are not happy about it. But if they complain, they are pulled off for “extra screening” and miss their flight and the airlines will not accommodate people that are hung up at security. When the people get on the planes, their attitude is already angry and it don’t take much to provoke someone on a plane. I dare not complain about the TSA, my employer is risk adverse and would can me in a new york minute rather than have the feds hassle them or notify them involving an incident with me and the TSA.
Hate to admit this, but the terrorists (aka Muslims) have won. We just don’t want to admit it yet. They have basically ruined us of our “free society” status.
Right, they have a really crappy attorney. They are suing for…………. $100,000.
That’s all. The picture of that poor bloody girl alone should be worth a couple of million.
Plus, she had to spend the night in jail….alone. That would be upsetting alone.
Who gets most of the $100k?
Lawyers = Politicians get half. But the poor girl will be taxed on the whole $100,000.

I’ve never been to Atlanta or the airport but you have. What percentage of those White Christian hating TSA thugs belong to the Negroid race?
Most of them and a lot of them have attitudes and are happy to lord it over white people. Memphis is a majority black city and I’ll be willing to bet that most of the TSA and the airport cops are black and have the same kind of attitude the TSA blacks in Atlanta have.
Same in Chicago. Ran into that shit back before 9/11. I will never, repeat never fly again. This is pure raw, bullshit that the American people put up with. We should demand and end to it. Security indeed.
The sad thing is that we won’t implement real security (profiling Middle Eastern people, namely Moslems), because it is not politically correct. How many disabled 19-year-old females have hijacked planes? It’s all been done by Moslem men. They are the ones we should be concentrating on. This entire episode could have been handled professionally, but when you consider in large cities, the TSA is a jobs program for under educated blacks, this is what you get. I can still remember Tom Daschle’s words, “To professionalize, you must federalize”. I laughed my ass off when he said that on the floor of the Senate. Unfortunately, it’s not a laughing matter.
Denny, I could not agree more with everything you just posted. It’s just a very disgusting, sad state of affairs we the American people are putting up with right now. It makes me sick. Thank-you for putting it so well.

Exactly right. A “job” program for the otherwise totally unemployable 70 IQ crowd. Not only obviously low IQ’s, but zero common sense and complete arrogance. “Ah is impotent, so listen mf’er do’s whats I says.” I fly as little has possible.
