Ted Cruz’s failure to endorse rival Donald Trump for president at last week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio has apparently caused his favorability rating among GOP voters to collapse, according to a national survey and an Ohio poll.
An NBC News/Survey Monkey nationwide poll released Tuesday and a PPP survey of Ohio Republicans released Monday confirms the shocking collapse in Cruz’ favorability rating among Republican voters following the convention seen in a CNN/ORC poll released Monday.
CNN/ORC:“Cruz’s move, however, appears to have backfired. While 60% of Republican voters had a positive impression of the former presidential candidate before the convention, just 33% have one now.”
NBC News/Survey Monkey:
“Ted Cruz, who scored a strong round of boos when he declined to endorse Trump in his speech to the RNC, was not viewed kindly by Republicans voters. Though Cruz finished second in the GOP primary race, just 28 percent of members of his own party now view him favorably; 68 percent now view him unfavorably. Clearly, his performance at the GOP convention was not received well by his party.”
PPP Ohio:
“The biggest loser from the convention is Ted Cruz though. He has an 18/65 favorability rating with Ohio voters, making him by far and away the least popular figure in our poll. Even among Republicans he’s at just 23/61. We asked GOP voters who they would support in a hypothetical primary contest between Trump and Cruz, and Trump wins out 61-19.”

Trump is a master at setting up others to fail. The RNC had Cruz’s speech far in advance so they knew he was not going to endorse. So, Trump had his people booing him at the end of the speech while Trump came onto the stage clapping and smiling. He gave Cruz just enough rope to hang himself.
Trump is doing the same to Hillary with his comments to the Russians to release the 30,000 emails that clinton deleted. You know the ones that had no secrets, just wedding plans and yoga, etc. So the clinton camp came out and said Trump is calling for espionage against the US and is jeopardizing national security.
Just watch, Trump will come back and say how am I jeopardizing national security if those emails had no national security emails in them. Which is it?

First of all it was not Trump but Democrats who first offered the information it was probably the Russians who hacked into the secured DNC server. If true then to hack into Hillary`s unsecured illegal server would be child`s play.
If Hillary told the truth & there was no sensitive/secret material in the E-Mails she deleted then no security breach or Hillary lies took place.
However since many Democrats who are well aware of Hillary`s penchance for lying are panicked & circling the wagons is evidence for the likelihood they believe there is much on those E-Mails which would prove her treason & lies.
Personally I think as usual she lied just as she always has & most people share that belief, I hope Putin runs to the nearest computer to send that info to Trump as a peace offering for future cooperation between Russia & America.

Since Cruz was born in Canada to probable Canadian citizens (not yet proven) he might not even be an American citizen. He is less qualified than Obama was to be President as you have to be born in the U S to two citizen parents.
