Noel Neill passed away Sunday at the age of 95. For those of you not old enough to remember, she played Lois Lane in the Superman serial in 1948 and on TV after the first season of Superman. Phyllis Coates played Lois Lane in the first season of Superman. Good old Lois. Always getting in trouble and then having to be saved by Superman. What I always wondered was who saved her before Superman came along?
RIP Lois. I have fond memories of watching Superman Saturday mornings. I also caught two episodes of the 1948 Superman serial on TCM a few months back. Noel was hotter than I remembered.
Looking back, these women from a bygone era are way hotter than the skinny, tattooed, sexually-ambiguous females of today.

Everything was better back then, even the tune for the series brings back a smile. Right and wrong was simple, with no shades of grey. What happened?!
