Dear Union Workers,
On this Labor Day, I have a question for you. Why do you support Dimocrats? I can understand gummint unions supporting the Dims, but you public sector workers surprise me. You support the party that favors open borders and unlimited immigration, including illegal immigration. Don’t you booger eatin’ moh-rons understand that these illegal workers are driving down your wages? Why pay union wages when you can get an illegal dude to do it for half what it costs for a union dude?
Here’s another question. Bill Clinton passed NAFTA. Ross Perot was correct about that giant sucking sound. Why build an auto plant in Detroit when you can build one in Mexico where labor is a lot cheaper? Trump wants to repeal or renegotiate NAFTA. Crooked Cankles likes the status quo. So why are you in favor of shipping your jobs to Mexico?
Howza ’bout the Keystone pipeline? That was gonna produce a lot of union jobs. Prez Hussein was against it. Thunder Rodent Thighs is against it as well, but you are still gonna vote for her. I don’t know Trump’s position but since he is a builder, I would bet that he is for it.
For the last fifty years, Dimocrats have been screwing blacks. Blacks did a lot better under Reagan and both Bushes than they have under the Obamessiah, but they still continue voting for Dimocrats. You union workers are getting the shaft as well but you still keep pulling the lever for Dimocrats. We are currently in a depression, yes, a depression and the PIAP wants to continue the same policies that has kept us in one.
The only jobs Crooked Cankles has created are special prosecutors and investigators into her illegal operations. Trump, on the other hand, has actually created real world jobs. Dontcha think that you would want to vote for the jobs creator?
Anyway, Happy Labor Day.
One of my oldies:
In the first half of the 20th century, unions brought about significant changes and crucial benefits to many American workers. They stimulated a steady rise in the standard of living by bringing reason and sanity to counter corporate greed and abuse of workers. In general, they made life better for everyone.
In the second half of the 20th century, unions created an unproductive adversarial relationship between management and labor which in turn created huge numbers of administrative positions which union members had to pay for through their dues and consumers had to pay for through increased prices. In general, they priced US industry out of the world market and triggered a slow but steady decline in product quality.
By the beginning of the 3rd millennium, unions had morphed into parasites which victimize the society at large and force manufacturers to relocate to countries with lower tax and labor rates just to remain viable. Today’s unions have mostly degenerated into little more than corrupt special-interest groups interested in nothing more than self-preservation through extortion, intimidation, and political terrorism.
For many unions, the primary goal is exorbitant is exorbitant wages and benefits for members to facilitate funding through dues so that they can support political machines geared toward promoting their selfish interests and longevity, particularly for their bloated and top-heavy managerial structure. Worker loyalty is guaranteed by the ridiculous wages, golden retirement packages, and other compensations they extract from employers through shake-down tactics.
Unions began by acquiring and ensuring more rights and privileges for American workers and society in general than any governmental, societal, or religious authority ever created by men. But as with all good things, the wealth and power attracted devious, greedy, corrupt, and unethical tyrants who prey upon their own members and tyrannize anyone who resists their insidious machinations, turning a benign benefactor organization into a bloodsucking malignant tumor.
Couldn’t say it better myself. I have a story about unions in St. Louis. In the 90’s the only unionized grocery chain was Kroger. They paid higher wages than the other chains in the area. Kroger went to the union and told them that they couldn’t continue to pay them the wage that they paid. It gave the union a choice: take a pay cut or Kroger would shut down and leave. In other words, take a pay cut or lose your job. Evidently the union members thought Kroger was bluffing or the union members were just plain stupid. They told Kroger “no”. Kroger shut down all of its stores and left St. Louis never to return.
I agree that at the start of the 20th Century unions did a lot of good but they gained too much power especially when the gummint under the Dimocrat Party started backing them. My father hated unions, having worked in a union shop when he worked for the railroad. He didn’t like the fact that pay was determined by seniority rather than merit. As such, there was no incentive to do a good job. And now unions, except gummint unions, have fucked themselves as Dimocrats are selling them out with open borders and unregulated immigration. Non-union auto workers in the South are doing just fine while union workers in Detoilet are seeing their jobs shipped to Mexico. Union workers won’t get their same overpaid jobs any more, but they will still have jobs if immigration is fixed.
You are correct on a number of things.
Now, I am asking for help and guidance.
Over this weekend, a number of renters have moved in to our neighborhood.
Each belongs to either Crips or Bloods.
They have already shown me that all they want is a place to sleep at night.
Other than that, are casing every single house in our neighborhood.
My Wife says she’ll pray on it and let me know what God says.
I say let’s take your Dad’s gift of a deathbed gift of a Garand rifle and get it clean and ready.
I do not like what has happened over the last three days.
I’ll share this:
One group wanted to know if I was a fan or owner of guns or knives. My reply was “No, I’m a fan of this suicide vest I’m wearing. Give me a big hug and go to wherever I’m going, … Loser.”
Our neighborhood changed 180 over this weekend.
Actually my prime defense weapon is a Mossberg 500 shotgun all loaded up and under my bed. The breech is empty but one chunk chunk and it’s loaded. I really should have my Mauser loaded as well but have no ammo for it. My advice to you is to get the fuck out of your neighborhood. Now! White lives do not matter to liberals and blacks. Don’t be a statistic! This is not racist Dan. It is common sense. Obongo and Holder have fanned the flames of racial hatred in this country. Race relations are the worst that I have seen them since the 60’s. Good luck!
Oh. Do you regret voting for Obubler twice?
Denny, I’ve got a Remington 16 gauge pump that was my late Fathers. It is loaded with #6 shot and will spread wall to wall down my long hallway. I also keep a Ruger .357 mag revolver close with rat shot rounds in it. They’ll make you give up quick.
Wow, good luck Dan S.
That sounds extremely dangerous, you need to leave, ASAP.
The question you were asked means you’re being checked out.
Well, Dan S, I always thought that Crips & Bloods didn’t get along, but I guess it’s like a pride of lions that’ll share the work of bringin’ down the prey, then scuffle a bit to see who gets the best part of the carcass. That Garand or Denny’s Mossberg sound good, but I love your idea of tellin’ them you’ve got a ‘splodey vest. That’d sure make me think long and hard about messin’ with you.
My ex wife worked for the Post Office a number of years. When Dole was facing off Clinton for election, the big thing the unions were telling the rank and file was that a vote for Dole was a vote for P.O. privatization. Naturally the workers were scared of losing their jobs and thus another factor in Clinton winning. Funny thing, a few weeks after being inaugurated, Clinton tried to get the P.O. to privatize. Funny how that works.
The companies come in and make life better. Then they screw you.
The unions come in – then they screw you.
The politicians have been… you get the idea.
I’m getting the impression that I can’t just pick a direction and then go to sleep.
As a 30 year Teamster I could never get my head around the fact that Union bigwigs wanted us to vote Democrat. Yeah, I can see it for Government workers but they never have contributed to the work force that produces anything. I’d always hear the Democrats are for the working man when in reality it’s the party of the non-working man.
What further frosted me was the Teamsters backing Democrats when that was the party that contrived to get Jimmy Hoffa sent to prison.
John… My Father was a longtime member of the Teamsters Union, he actually helped to establish the local here in Erie & was one of the founding members. In doing so he did meet Jimmy Hoffa & though not in the inner circle was friendly with him.
My father was forced to retire early & had to accept a reduced pension due to a leg injury suffered on the job which prevented him from driving. For whatever reason they never worked to get workman`s comp for him or to go after the company where the injury occurred.
The nature of his injury was a compound fracture of his ankle which took almost two years & two operations to repair but left him unable to feel the clutch or brake pedals due to numbness
How it happened was after completing a delivery he was tightening the tarp straps , one broke & when he stepped back a floor drain cover had been removed, he stepped backward into the open drain suffering the compound fracture.
He had slightly over 30 years of safe driving & at his passing in 1993 was the oldest Teamster from local 396 & last founding member.
At his funeral ….Many drivers & retirees attended to pay their respects but No Union officer attended & no flowers were sent. They did manage to send me a letter to be sure & return his last retirement check since he was now deceased.
My father was a staunch Union member, attended all functions, volunteered to work at these events & assisted several of the business agents down thru the years all free gratis. A more loyal hard working believer in the Union I doubt you will ever find. What a colossal disrespect he received after all he had done for the Teamsters Union.
I guess you can at least suspect my opinion of it.
Nobody ever accused rank and file union membership of being smart. Union leadership, on the other hand, doesn’t care one way or the other. They get theirs by skimming off the top.
“They get theirs by skimming off the top.”
And the middle, and the bottom…
