The Elephant In The Room

Another Sunday and another day when I didn’t watch any pro football. As long as the NFL insults me, I will not watch the NFL. The insult started during the Super Bowl when they had that fatassed Beyonce put on an anti-cop show. Then, they decided to support Colon Kaperdick and other black players who refused to stand for the National Anthem to protest the treatment of “oppressed” Negroes. Find a country where you worthless assholes have it better than the United States and move there. You won’t be able to. We have catered to you worthless dickheads for the last fifty years to no avail. We gave you a day off for MLK. Sorry. He did not deserve to be honored by a national holiday. We gave you a black president who has totally fucked up this country and it is still not enough. We have spent over $20 trillion to try and civilize you to no avail. Still not enough. Fuck you!

The ratings are down for the NFL and they cannot figger out why. Various excuses have come forth like the election or streaming devices. The NFL refuses to see the main reason. We are sick and tired of black people protesting.

Back in the late Roman Republic and then the Empire it was Panem et Circenses, bread and circuses. Remember the Hunger Games? The country was Panem and the Hunger Games were the circuses. In Rome, the gladiators said before the games began, “We who are about to die salute you.” Our panem is welfare, EBT cards, and subsidized housing. Our gladitorial games are the NFL. We watch them for entertainment not politics. STFU and play. That’s all we want. We don’t want to see you booger eatin’ moh-rons kneeling or raising your fists. The NFL can’t seem to figger this out.

My sister hasn’t watched an NFL game this year either. She told me of a poll that said Colon was number three as to why ratings were down. I saw another poll where he was number one. Unfortunately, the NFL has been taken over by SJWs and they fuck up every thing. The NFL would rather cater to their Negro players rather than where the money comes from, the fans. The players are gladiators. They play for us. If they won’t respect the flag, it’s time for them to go. Goodell and the owners have to realize this. It’s the elephant in the room. How much longer will it take before the sponsors start asking for reduced rates?

I hope the ratings continue to tank. Hit them in the wallet where it hurts. Boycott the NFL.

  1. It certainly seems like you don’t like America much, either. What’s the difference between you and Keapernick?

Both of y’all are using the soapbox you have to complain about what *you* think is wrong with this country.

    • Sorry, Robin, but there’re lots of us who love this Country and aren’t afraid to say it. There’ve been too many who want to turn this into Social Justice Land, subject to the whims of whichever group of whiners can catch the attention of the media, all of whom seem to be more interested in pushin’ their own version of what they deem important, rather than just tellin’ folks that, yes, the former SoS and current candidate did repeatedly lie and interfere with an FBI investigation. Or maybe the “big news” should be that some has-been athlete is havin’ a mid-life crisis and thinks he’s a she, but don’t really believe it enough to go ahead and have ’em cut off his wwe-wee. Or who uses which bathroom, and that leads to abnormals takin’ up stalls in the ladies room when it’s crowded and they could instead be walkin’ into the gents, hangin’ it out and movin’ on.

  2. As I’ve said many times before, prob’ly here, too . . . the last NFL game I watched had Joe Montana as QB for the 49ers.

The last MLB game I watched had Dale Murphy in CF for the Braves.

The last NBA game I watched had Havlicek, Russel, and Joneses.

Not a whole lot to to with race, necessarily — just millionaire athletes playing a game and griping about it.

Gave up on tennis when the guys started gettin up into the 130mph range with serves and you never saw a McEnroe or Borg or Nastase rally any more. Ditto when the ladies got to the point that it was all serve and no finesse after Chris Evert wore out.

Now I’m at the point where I watch golf only on Sunday at the Masters and the US or Brit Opens once in a while depending on where they’re being played.

And I never developed a taste for sockey or hoccer.

I also happen to believe that collegiate sports would be a whole lot better for everybody if no games were ever televised. EVER! And I’d love to go back to the days when baseball players tended to spend an entire career with one team and games were on the radio . . . ONLY. Somethin reassuring and comforting about a good announcer keepin you posted on a game while you did somethin else with your eyes, like carpentry or bailin hay or washin the car or fishin. You know . . . good ol’ boy stuff.

  3. Hey Denny;

I am a hardcore Atlanta Falcon’s fan and I watched them from the good years and the bad…lotta years. But I haven’t watched a single game this year and adamantly refuse to watch any. It is the same at my job, a lot of the people there won’t watch the game for the same reason. We watch football to be entertained not be lectured by some wanna be special snowflake with a pet cause.

  4. I’m with all of you. I haven’t watched a single game or gone on the NFL’s website at all this season. As a matter of fact, when I know there is an NFL game on TV I use the channel guide to see what’s on instead of just channel surfing, lest they count my momentary stop on the game as another viewer.

And, I don’t care what the NFL’s alibi is. I’m just happy that they are wringing their hands over their losses even if they can’t publicly admit the cause I’m sure that privately they all realize that they royally F**KED-UP!

And have ya’ read today’s related story from New Jersey?

It seems that the ACLU (American Communist-Liberals United) and the NAACP (Niggers Are Always Complaining & Protesting) have their panties in a knot because, “Middletown High School South saluted more than 100 police officers and military personnel on Oct. 21.” From; http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/10/24/aclu-schools-salute-to-cops-sends-ominous-frightening-message.html

They went on to say; “But the ACLU of New Jersey exploded with fury — accusing organizers of sending an “ominous, frightening message.” In a letter to school leaders, the ACLU-NJ and the local chapter of the NAACP said the school was using the salute to “intimidate and ostracize people who express their views about systemic racism and social justice.”

The controversy stems in part from some comments Middletown Police Deputy Chief Stephen Dollinger made to the Asbury Park Press. He reportedly told the newspaper that the salute was prompted by the behavior of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernic

“It’s okay to stand up for social justice, inequality and reform,” he told the newspaper in advance of the football game. “It’s another thing to not stand up for the national anthem.”

Dollinger later said his remarks had been “twisted” and the event had nothing to do with the disgraced NFL quarterback or Black Lives Matter. “I said we respect the rights of everybody to stand up for social justice and equality and reform, but we also respect our country and want to celebrate the first responders, the national anthem,” he told the newspaper.

Finally, here are quotes from two ACLU spokeswomen:

Said ACLU-NJ policy counsel Dianna Houenou. “The people police are sworn to protect and serve should not have to fear that the value officers assign to them is determined by the beliefs they hold,”

    From another ACLU spokeswomon:

Jasmine Crenshaw, another ACLU lackey, raged over the deputy chief’s behavior. “The statements made by the deputy police chief and the event’s ostentatious show of power send an ominous, frightening message: that, as an official stance, law enforcement will not tolerate expressions acknowledging our nation’s history of unequal treatment and systematic oppression,” Crenshaw said.

And that’s what the NFL has done to help the Obungler’s divisive agenda. “Hope and Change” MY ASS!

  5. A few thoughts about this topic:
Black people make up 13.2 % of the American population. Black people make up 67% of the players in the NFL.
Who manages the NFL players money for them? I mean they only play for at the most 10 years and then they are “poof” gone. Do they all use the same investment company to help them save for a rainy day?
Why is it that the game seems to have slowed down? I mean there is a very brief 3-5 second massive burst of energetic movement; then a minute of players wandering around the field, trying to find the scrimmage line or waiting for the refs to decide what the flag was for.
    Steve
