They’re knocking them dead in Chicago. They’ve gone over 700 homicides (712 to be exact) so far this year. Last year they only had 500 homicides. So when some idiot like Paul Krugman denies that crime is up, which he has, tell him he’s full of it. They also broke another mark. They broke the 11 hour mark. Here are the latest stats from here.
Can they get under ten hours? Keep in mind that most of these are blacks yet you never hear about this from Black Lives Matter. Yeah. Black lives matter. Pull my finger.
One of the shooting deaths was a US Congressman’s grandson. They were arguing over a pair of shoes.
The sad part in all this is that a few of them might (not likely) have wised up one day and become conservatives. Instead, they will all be voting communist err democrat for the next hundreds of years. But then again, when we catch the perps we find they were already living off the tax payers, so the only thing changing is their mailing address.
It would be mildly interesting to know what the actual counts are. It seems quite likely that a lot of shootings & deaths are not reported. War zones are noted by lots of ‘missing-in-actions’ and these are in places where the ‘people’ quite often haven’t had even the knowledge of who were their fathers for 3-5 generations.
Cops seem to have a limited interest in the past history of road-kill.
To think these wasted lives could have been used to fetch Hillary her coffee.
Interesting to note that Chicago is probably the largest gun free zone in this country. Their draconian firearms laws, regulations, stipulations, etc are among the worst in the nation. The only folks that can protect themselves are Police, Politicians & Perps. The citizens are left to be victims. Recent attempts to bring the constitution to the city have been met with bitter opposition.
Did you notice how quick they nabbed the thugs that killed the Congressman’s grandson? Oh, and at first, it was called a home break in.
I live in the 7th District of Congressman Davis and I’ve never heard him say one thing publicly on black on black crime.
I used to visit Chicago on business fairly often in years back , I always stayed in hotels out by Hoffman Estates rather then to stay in hotels in Chicago. The drive into town was sometimes a bother but the desire to stay alive was much stronger.
The city of Chicago is a total shit hole at this point, well on its way to becoming anther Detroit or worse. Blame the Democrat’s and their machine and their corruption. At this point it will get much worse and they will still refuse to accept any blame and just point fingers and demand more gun control, which will never work. The gangs will break the law and get firearms and keep killing each other. How it all ends I have no idea. Nor care to anymore. I have nothing to do with that cesspool called Chicago.
