American Elections

In Chicago, of course. Thanks to Jane Austen and Urik for the image. And Pres sent me this one.

Let the recount begin.

Yannow, wouldn’t you think that the most powerful country in the world, the beacon of the free world would have a better electoral process? No, I’m not talking about the Electoral College. The Electoral College is a good thing. Crooked Cankles won the popular vote by 2.5 million votes. She won California by around 4.2 million votes. That means she lost the rest of the country by almost 2 million votes. The Electoral College was adopted so one or two large states wouldn’t determine the outcome of the election. Without it there wouldn’t have been a United States since the small states wouldn’t join without some protection from the large states. That’s why we have the Senate as well. They prolly don’t teach this stuff in the gummint schools anymore. I had to study the Constitution in three separate grades when I went to school.

What I’m talking about is the integrity of our elections. One of the unintended consequences of the Michigan recount is it showed the voting irregularities in the heavily Dimocrat Detoilet area where massive voter fraud was uncovered. And, of course, we know there is massive voter fraud in Chicago where the dead vote early and often. Chicago was instrumental in JFK stealing the election in 1960.

In California illegals voted. It was encouraged. We have shoddy voter registration rolls. When Republicans try to clean them up they are derided as racists. Just like voter ID. It’s racist. How hard is it for a poor or a black person to get an ID? Not very hard at all. Especially here in Georgia.

We have people who live in two different states casting votes in both of those states.

And then we have the hodge podge of voting systems throughout the country. We have paper ballots. We have touch screen machines, many of which were changing votes to Crooked Cankles. We have machine read ballots. The more technology we put into our voting system the easier it is to cheat and if you don’t think there is cheating I have some ocean front property in Kansas to sell you. In Detoilet it turns out that in some precincts more votes were cast for Thunder Rodent Thighs than registered voters. The same thing happened with Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade in his two elections. Amazing how often that happens in areas run by Dimocrats.

Countries more backwards than we are have better voting integrity. Our elections are not as open and honest as our ruling class would like us to believe. It’s a disgrace.

  1. I’ve been trying to get my uber lib younger sister to understand the electoral college for years. She is a lib true believer that if Hellary has a tnuc, it’s time for her to be the prezzy. That is all she needs as a qualification. She wasn’t raised by the two fine parents that I had.

  2. my wife went to renew her driver’s license last week. She is a resident alien, here legally but not a citizen (yet). While rewing, she was asked if she wanted to register to vote. She informed the employee that she does not have the priviledge of voting due to her immigration status. The girl then told her that it does not matter and she could register anyway! My wife never believed me when I would tell her illegals DO vote, now she sees just how easy it is. BTW, she did NOT register.

    • Amendments 18 (Prohibition) and 19 (women’s vote) aren’t any real prizes, either.

Voting for someone because “She deserves it.” With that attitude we’ll soon have politicians that all act like children.

      • Yep. Carrie Nation and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.

Grrlpower nonsense that’s put the screws to America since the Reconstruction Era.

  3. Yeah, I’ve always prided myself on voting for the candidate, not the party. Once I kick the bucket, my guess is that I’ll show up as always voting a straight Dem ticket.

  4. The main argument of the left about requiring ID’s to vote is that it is too hard for many black and elderly people to get an ID. If that isn’t the biggest bunch of BS I don’t know what is. Everyone needs an ID for a multitude of reasons, mainly to buy a drink (but I digress). It would be interesting to see how many people in the country don’t already have a valid ID of some sort.

  5. I want to point out that although Hillary got more popular votes, we just don’t know what would have happened had the election rules been that popular vote determined the election.

It would be like someone saying that hs team would have won if field goals were worth 4 points instead of 3. That would be true if each team made the same decisions in a 4ptfg game as they did in the 3ptfg game. But their decisions are based on what the rules are, and knowing the point value of various plays, so they wouldn’t have.

For the election, if the rules said that the election winner would be determined by the popular vote, voter’s choices would likely be different. There must be a lot of registered voters who didn’t bother to vote because their state was one sided, and they had something more important to them. This could happen whether their candidate was expected to lose or win their state.

    We just don’t know.

  6. If you look at the map of the US broken down by blue vs red states it becomes very obvious that most “counties” went red throughout the country. Yet, if a state has a large city chances are the state went blue.

I understand it is up to each state as to how they allocate their electoral college delegates. Some states have winner takes all, etc. Maine has an different setup where they allocate their electoral votes by counties. If that were done in each of the 50 states the democraps would rarely ever win any seats again.

  7. If Trump’s camp called for a recount in Mexifornia, they could probably lay to waste the notion that cankles won the popular vote.
