Saturday Guitar

Mozart was a very playful pianist. He composed a variations on piano on a tune that we know as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Here it is transcribed for guitar.

One of the comments: Learn Twinkle twinkle they said, it would be fun they said.

It would not surprise me a bit if Claudia has played this on the piano.

  1. Michael did a marvelous job in transcribing Mozart’s Variations. The tune is also used for a popular French song. “Ah! vous dirai-je Maman.” I played it by ear, on the piano, at 6 y.o. Then I learned the classical variations with my music teacher at 12. I wish I would be at home to find out how well I remember it. But I was kicked out of my place for bathroom renovations. Hard not to have my piano at Christmas.
