Totally awesome. They absolutely nailed it that night. I might have to look into picking up the DVD or Blu Ray. Twin lead guitars kick serious ass. It’s a major part of what made Priest, along with Wishbone Ash, Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden so great.
I wish the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame would stop being so prejudiced against Heavy Metal and let Priest in already. Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy too. Hell, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax are eligible too, and I believe a case can be made for them.
I used to go the Judas Priest concerts every year hear in San Diego probably have seen them all, I remember this tour, they started out with Love Bites, we had a two bedroom dump ocean view apartment on the second floor and used to blast Unleashed from the East out of Marshall stacks and a power amp, nobody seemed to care, really good times! Steel trash can in the kitchen.
