Have you watched any of the hearing on Gorsuch? I’ve seen a few snippets and read some of the transcripts. He has done a good job of making Dimocrats look like idiots. They have done all of the work. He’s just pointed it out. He was even able to make failed comedian Al Franken funny. Feinstein looked like an idiot. She’s in her 80’s. It’s time for her to retire, just like McRINO.
Don’t Dimocrats get pissed when their own tactics are used against them? All of these assholes have to bring up Garland. Mike Luckovich, the liberal cartoonist for the AJC, penned a cartoon about Gorsuch stealing Garland’s seat. The Republicans are just using the Biden rule. Smokin’ Joe didn’t think that a Republican in his last year of office should get to appoint a Supreme Court Justice. Now that the tables are turned the Dims have gone bat shit crazy.
Bitch McConnell sez Gorsuch will be confirmed. Chuck the Schmuck Schumer sez there will be a filibuster. Looks like if there are not enough Dimocrat votes, Bitch will institute the Reid rule which will eliminate the filibuster. Boy, won’t the Dims go bat shit crazy over that?
Now we have to hope that Gorsuch won’t be a turncoat like John Roberts.
I think that Gorsuch is in the mold of Judge Oliver Wendell Holmes as illustrated in the following:
A judge cannot “do justice” directly in the case before him. This view was strongly expressed in a small episode in the life of Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes. After having lunch with Judge Learned Hand, Holmes entered his carriage to be driven away. As he left, Judge Hand’s parting salute was:
“Do justice, sir, do justice.”
Holmes ordered the carriage stopped.
“That is not my job,” Holmes said to Judge Hand. “It is my job to apply the law.”
[The Quest for Cosmic Justice, The Free Press, 1999, p. 169]
Justice, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. One man’s justice is another man’s tyranny.
I can’t imagine Gorsuch being a turncoat like Roberts turned out to be. He has tons more class than any of the Dumbocraps, individually and/or collectively, could ever hope to have. That said, I believe that he will be a very sharp thorn in the sides of Kagan, Sotomeyeer, Kennedy, and Rogers during any of their decision-making processes. A true breath of fresh air, if you will.
I like Gorsuch. As a matter of fact, I like all 3 of Trump’s SCOTUS finalists – Neil Gorsuch of Colorado, William Pryor of Alabama and Thomas Hardiman of Pennsylvania.
However, of the 3, Gorsuch was my 3rd choice.
My 1st choice, strictly from a hard core Conservative point-of-view, was Pryor. But, let’s face it, he could never get confirmed.
Hardiman was my 2nd choice and I believe should be Trump’s next nominee should one of those Lib-O geezers on the Court keel over and die or resign.
Rumors are the FBI was “wiretapping” Roberts. Was it a live boy or a dead girl?
Delay delay delay. They’re blocking whatever they possibly can in order to stop momentum.
But, guess what… Trump has had setbacks before. He knows enough not to let the MSM define him. He’s too restless to let anything stop him.
The only thing that can stop him are republicans.
Remember, a split Court is more likely to give the Dems what they want so they’ll try to get as many cases heard now as possible. If we have another opening or two, the Progressives will fight tooth and nail to keep another Conservative off SCOTUS.
Gorsuch said a couple of days ago that no one is above the law. Very true. But nobody has told that to the Clintons or to Mullah Obama.
