Yannow, I was gonna write a post about the Comey firing. For the last 5 months the Dimocrats have been demonizing him and have programmed all of their little dimbots to hate him. So Colbert and the harpies on The View were shocked when the dimbots in the audience applauded when they announced Comey’s firing. Colbert said sumpin’ about there must be a lot of Trump supporters in the audience. At a Colbert show? Not likely. What happened was the mindless dimbots hadn’t been reprogrammed to think Comey was now a good guy. Anywho Ron talks about that in his latest. He’s been on fire and I’ve got writer’s block so here is another post from Ron.
Dump Trump – in 2024
The National Institute of Health along with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for MediCare and MedicAid issued a bulletin today declaring a state of emergency for all hospitals, HMOs, doctors, nurse practitioners, and especially urgent-care and trauma centers throughout the nation.
Emergency rooms and chiropractors in all 50 states have reported an unprecedented, massive spike in neck injuries. Oddly the more than 50 million reported complaints came almost exclusively from Democrats who spasmodically jerked from demanding that James Comey be fired to insisting that Trump had no right to fire him.
Ho-lee Shi’ite! WTF is WRONG with the left? Jeebus Keeriminey. I no longer watch ANY news on TV. Can’t trust any of it. My grandfather often told us to believe NONE of what we heard on radio (we had no TV in those days), about 25% of what we read in the papers, and less than half of what we saw.
And I think it was Will Rogers who said, “If you don’t read the news, you are uninformed. If you DO read the news, you are misinformed.” Hey, I won’t believe that the touted Comey memo even exists until I see it on line in a “usually reliable” forum, and even then I’ll be as suspicious of it as I still am of the various editions of Soetoro’s birth certificate.
AND, I doubt SERIOUSLY if anything DJT said to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador was news to them, and it most CERTAINLY won’t have anywhere NEAR the impact that what both Slick and Shrill either gave away or published to uncleared individuals by unsecured media.
Hey, Holder was a gunrunner for the Obama administration. Gave uncountable numbers of guns to Mexico, lied to everybody – including Congress – about it, was held in contempt by Congress, but never prosecuted by the Dems.
I think I’d like to hear more about the Seth Rich murder by Democrats for leaking their e-mails. Of course we won’t, ‘cause the Clinton News Network will continue to push the fake Russia and Comey memo stories to keep it out of the news.
What bugs me most about it is that the whole thing seems to be propagandized to alarm that vast intellectual wasteland between the left- and right-coast megalopolises. Seems that the Russia thing (a base damage-control fabrication by Podesta and Mook) along with the alleged Comey memo amounts to nothing more than telling a lie, a YUGE lie, so many times that it takes on the aura of truth simply because it won’t go away.
I DO genuinely believe that a moratorium on TV news, especially skewed or outright fake news, would help — news at 0600, 1200, and 2200 . . . ONLY. And anybody who insists on pushing unsubstantiated gossip and uncorroborated rumor be taken out and caned, publicly.
Good grief! You’d think from listening to news (and it’s difficult to avoid it if you energize your idiot box) that Trump has opened Pandora’s box, invited the Borg to come to earth and eat us, and used what’s left of the Constitution as buttwipe. IOW that we’re about to fold like a cheap gambler with a four-card flush and 2 white chips.
It’s all nothing but payback for Trump’s “birther” crusade and FoxNews’s unrelenting pressure on the Hillary e-mail espionage when all the alphabet networks had completely pooh-poohed the idea as “No There there.”
I refuse to watch the news these days, except once in a while on OAN – which is unabashedly conservative, but not smug or condescending about it; they just report the news they find interesting without commentary or snark.
Most of the time I prefer just to read it. In fact, sometimes I don’t even read it — just sorta WEIGH and COUNT what I see at FoxNews, CNN, HLN, and OAN. I mean, I know what CNN’s gonna say, so why read it. Ditto from Fox . . . except for Krauthammer — he generally has a pretty good handle on the whos and whats and whens and whys and wherefores, and usually comes up with a reasonable therefore.
And from what I’ve read in the past 3 weeks or so, Trump’s biggest mistake in firing Comey was that it shoulda been done on January 20th, not May 9th, or whenever it was. In any case, it’s not — at least in my opinion — the greatest constitutional crisis to hit the nation since that little dustup back in 1861 thru 1864. It’s certainly not as bad as some of the crap Obama and Hillary pulled.
The leftist media just don’t get it. It really hasn’t sunk in that THEY are part of the reason Trump got elected in the first place, they and people like Kerry, and Rice, and HRC, and Soetoro.
Given their penchant for ignoring what interests flyover country and their campaign to convince us into converting ourselves into socialist welfare dependents frightened by microagressions and unable to reconcile the gender Mother Nature arbitrarily assigned to us without our consent, they can’t see that we’re not interested in becoming another Venezuela or France or Greece.
It’s as if someone put blinders on them and permanently tuned them into Wolf and Rachel and Joe and Mika, not that I’ve forgotten Anderson and Christine and Chris and Andrea, et al. They’re astonished at our inability to accept their moral, intellectual, economic, racial, and political superiority. They see it as offering ice cream to recalcitrant children who inexplicably turn it down.
But, they’re not gonna give up. They want Trump OUT – out of the Oval Office, out of the news, and out of business. They don’t have any feasible or reasonable alternative to him; they just don’t want HIM.
Ah, well. I remember during the campaign last year I said on several occasions that I wouldn’t be a’tall surprised to see Trump win the election, stay in office for a little while, and then abjure like Prospero in The Tempest (which is what DJT has put himself in with his alligator mouth and his Yosemite Sam tweets).
DJT’s tweets are nothing more than a 21st century version of FDR’s Fireside Chats. I can’t see that he’s done or said anything impeachworthy so far. He’s managed to cause uncountable numbers of liberal brains to ossify, and he’s pissed off hundreds of entrenched politicians from both sides of the aisle, not to mention lobbyists. But he hasn’t broken any laws and he’s trying to drain the swamp as he said he would.
In fact, he’s been making pretty good progress at that, IMO, based on the fact that the major media are hostile, the Congress is dragging its feet approving his nominees, and the left is so butt-hurt about Felonia Von Pantsuit’s electoral college drubbing that they STILL can’t sit down without serious rectal agony.
Will DJT succeed? Hell, I donno. I kinda doubt it, given the rancor and malevolence of people such as Schumer and Pelosi, not to mention the knife-in-the-back support of RINOs such as McCain and Collins. In fact, more than half the US population is so dependent upon government subsidies, health care, food stamps, welfare, and so on to the degree that they have no choice other than to vote for Democrats in hope the dole will continue to flow.
We’re very likely past the point of no return in that regard, and there’s absolutely NO hope of ever paying down the debt, at least in any legal or logical sense. No, the left sees Trump as fucking things up as fast as he can while his supporters are still hoping that new broom they bought last fall still has enough bristles to sweep out at least a LITTLE bit of the overlap, waste, corruption, and deadwood.
Me? Well, it’s that time of year again when I gotta stay in outta the sun and heat as per docs’ orders. Been workin on a novel and didn’t like the way it was goin, so just yesterday I dumped about 30 pages (around 15,000 words) and am all the way back to the first 8 chapters of character, setting, and plot development. No need to watch the news except as a distraction to reset the imagination generator.
Wow. Didn’t think I’d thrown so many words around. Nearly 1500. Oh, well. Y’all know where the delete key is.
