Some Republicans folded in the house. on this vote . So I would say the majority will fold in the Senate. After all ,all a Republican is is a Democrat turned inside out . Looks like the late night mouth pieces are ruling this nation after hillary lost. I wonder when Trump will ever get some kind of support from both party ?
Don’t everyone get all excited. these asshole campaigned on repeal. now they’re touting repeal and replace. When the fuck did we the people say we wanted it replace. I’ll tell you when. Never. These fuckers could screw up a wet dream. I am no more “excited” by this new announcement than I was the day the Halfrican implemented it and FORCED me to buy a service I had no desire to have. As of now, I have no health insurance. Fuck the Feds.
Congress passed it now on to the Senate then to Trump to sign it into law then onto the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals where some Obama appointed radical activist Liberal judge will block it and hold it up because he’s a piss pot brat.
It’s still government control of your health, what was repealed? Nothing, what was simply tweaked a little? Obamacare
The current crop of congress critters up for election will have to keep in mind that Trump was elected on a promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. If they have half a brain they will vote accordingly. Not sure about that half brain thing though. . . .
The contrarian me says it doesn’t matter whether the R’s fold or not; by the time the Senate gets done making amendments to garner crucial “D” votes, and the whole mess gets resolved in conference in the House, the end product will bear an amazing resemblance to what we have right now.
Once you’re screwed, you can’t get unscrewed. Remember when Mr. Trump talked about insurance companies selling over state lines to increase competition and bring prices down? Well, what happened to that? Insurance companies don’t want to compete. My monthly premium increased 175% the first year; would have cost me over 25% of my GROSS income and this is for one person, not a family. Luckily, I turned 65 six weeks after Obamacare became law, otherwise I’d be uninsured which is pretty ironic since I have been a responsible person and carried my own health insurance since age 18. This is what Dems and pretty much all pols are about – take stuff from the responsible and productive and give it to the lazy and irresponsible to get votes. A pox on both their houses!!! Time for torches and pitchforks.
They really should let obamacare implode. This way hey don’t have to take responsibility for it this new POS bill. Then people will see that govt controlled healthcare (redistribution of wealth) is a disaster and will not want more govt involvement. At the direction this “new” healthcare bill is headed we’ll have single payer within 10 years.
It does not really matter what the repeal effort amounts to, it is still a government intrusion where it does not belong. This went from bad to worse when people who believe Healthcare is an entitlement rather then a privilege became a majority & the Democratic Party jumped on it.
Don`t misunderstand me Healthcare is great & most companies offered it as an employment benefit which was reasonable in cost & often 100% company covered …..that is until the Government got involved. It is no accident costs have skyrocketed & will continue to do so.
Well , what is next? how about Home Insurance or Car Insurance? Maybe the government can take over these as well. Health , Home & Car , makes a great trifecta.
My favorite though would be Education insurance just in case our educational system fails to educate our children. the way our educational system performs , we would need several million new lawyers to handle the case load. Yep! this is one the Government should oversee as an entitlement.
Instant job creation for legal talent for sure & subject to expansion because education professionals would want liability insurance in case they get sued.
The point is Government is becoming ever more oppressive as to control & direction of we the people instead of relying on logic, common sense & the Constitution .
As to what are rights we are entitled to the Constitution spells that out. Living as free people we can enhance our lives & protect our health, homes or possessions any way we choose …….for a price. This is called a privilege something we can have if we choose & the Government has no right to impose a demand or control over these choices.
When the government assumes control over our privileges we lose our individual freedom to choose. What immediately follows is restriction as to what is allowed with a demand to comply or else at an ever rising cost with
more regulation.
What it means is we become subjects of an aristocracy & no longer citizens of the greatest country in the world All of us including those who are most passionate about so-called entitlements will eventually lose.
At my age I will not witness the end game but my children & grandchildren will . One hell of a legacy to pass on.
The ACA was not repealed in the House bill, only about 10% of it, and our money is still going directly to the insurance companies, only now with the GOP seal of approval.
My personal premiums were $2000 a year when ACA passed; now they’re $7000. Mid-life, mid-income, basic policy…I’m exactly in the demographic and circumstances that the Democrats swore they were going to help. Damned liars. They belong in jail, but what can one do? So what does this “repeal” mean to me? I have no idea. I’ll hope for the best, but how can I judge? The analysts will drone on and on, but only time will tell.
Yep establishment republicans will fold like a polish accordion.
I’m counting on the 25 (?) democrat senators up for reelection in 2018.
Fold faster than Superman on laundry day.
Yes, but what have to get replaced it with?
I hate autocorrect… That should have said: what have they replaced

The answer is term limits on these spineless pussies.
They will fold like a cheap-assed lawn chair that is to old and is broken to boot. Oh yeah, they will fold fast. Bet on it.

Which was the whole purpose of Obummercare in the first place.

As usual, dud, you put it well.
