Here’s some Iron Maiden another metal group with two lead guitarists.

  1. Ahhh, Paul Di’Anno – powered be cocaine and whiskey. I couldn’t get a ticket for their 1989? show at UNO Lakefront, but for a bottle of rum which I drank sitting in a park overlooking the lake, I chauffeured 5 of me supremely-fucked-up friends to the show. I couldn’t hear the band, but I could hear the crowd.
I’m surprised I can still remember.

  2. Live at the Rainbow, 1980. Featuring the great Paul DiAnno on vocals, who would depart the band less than a year later. Bruce Dickinson is awesome, but I think Maiden did their best work with DiAnno.

Dave Murray and Adrian Smith play lead guitar so well together, it’s often impossible to distinguish between them. It sounds as if a four armed monster is playing two guitars at once.
