If it wasn’t for the “Bread and Circuses” the people are getting, there would have been a revolt a long time ago. If the average John Q public had to write a check for his yearly tax bill on April 15th, there would be a revolt. Withholding is a boon for the big statist. It is had to for a population to go postal when they are content. despite some grumbling from the antifa idiots.
We need to fight another revolution, this time in protest of representation without taxation.
Here in dreary Erie we have a mayor known as Joe Donuts who proclaimed for the second year in a row we could not afford a city fireworks display, Yep he is a third term dimocrat but we have term limits so a new dimocrat will be taking his place.
Anyway hundreds of Erie people went to Ohio & purchased many thousands of dollars worth of fire works & lit up Erie Skies for about 4 hours like George Bush Senior did to Baghdad in the first gulf war. There were so many fireworks going off everywhere, the Erie Police abandoned any attempt to enforce the no fireworks law!
The only thing missing was minute by minute CNN TV commentary from a hotel.
Anyway Ohio fireworks retailers are very appreciative of Erie people support for their profitable business & the stupidity of Mayor Krispy Kreme.
