Yep! Far left wackos have descended on Atlanta for the annual Nutroots Nation convention.

The beating heart of the effort to resist President Donald Trump will descend on Atlanta on Thursday with a four-day conference of the nation’s leading liberal activists and politicians.

The mission of the Netroots Nation event is to energize a legion of new activists ahead of next year’s midterms, derail Trump’s agenda and lay the groundwork to oust him in 2020. And they’ll have backup from U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Vice President Al Gore, as well as Georgia’s two Democratic candidates for governor, Stacey Abrams and Stacey Evans.

Yep! Fauxchahontas and Pope Albert I of the Church of AGW will be on hand. Whoopie!

Part pep rally and part insurgency training, the conference includes nearly 200 panels and training sessions designed to teach progressive activists how to reclaim state legislatures, advance LGBT rights in the South and master social media strategy.

Others aim to encourage liberals to run for office, whether they challenge incumbent Republicans or establishment Democrats. One even advises activists on how — and why — they should take over their local Democratic Party to bring a more liberal bent.

Please take the Dimocrat Party further left. Please.

And then there are discussions focused on sharpening lessons from Democrat Hillary Clinton’s defeat in November. One trains candidates and activists to secure their websites “against the Internet’s wretched hive of scum and villainy.” Another panel counsels strategists on how to combat fake news.

“This is the premier conference for left-leaning strategists and activists who use the Internet, and fake news is our biggest challenge,” said Melissa Ryan, a digital strategist who has worked for Barack Obama and will lead the Netroots panel.

Wait a minute! They want to counteract their own propaganda arm, the Fake News Media?

One of the panels will be led by Jon Osshole who will tell the panelists how to win elections in the South.

Didn’t sleep last night so I slept today, or tried to. Got some sleep. Getting old really sucks. Don’t feel like writing so once again, I turn to Ron.

Senator (it is to laugh) McCain must be getting very weary from carrying that grudge over Trump’s deliberate deflating of his status as “war hero” simply because he was captured by the enemy. He’s turned into the inconvenient boob in Congress who hates Trump more than he loves his country.

To me, McVain’s record is particularly unimpressive, especially his history as a Navy pilot. And I’m certainly not dazzled or inspired by his status at the Naval Academy, graduating 5th from the bottom of his class. Considering his frequent disciplinary problems, he’d NEVER have graduated had his daddy and granddaddy not been admirals. Nobody in my family had scrambled eggs on their hats and MY BA degree is Summa Cum Laude.

He may have demonstrated both courage and conviction by not agreeing to be released by the North Vietnamese once they learned who his father and grandfather were. But I’ve never quite understood how he had any control over the situation. If they’d wanted to release him for the PR benefit, they’d have done it regardless of how he felt about it. I’m not convinced he stayed on at the Hanoi Hilton out of any sense of loyalty to his comrades. I smell a PRshop.

John McCain was born privileged and never quite grew out of it. In fact, he never quite grew up at all . . . just got fatter and older. Today he’s not just a waning star in the political picture; he’s a flamed-out dwarf orbiting the capitol like a cold and potentially dangerous hunk of debris from the collision of dead speeches, periodically coming close enough to a microphone to leave a streak of sarcasm and frighten various senators.

McCain says he is dismayed at Trump’s responding to Phat Un’s threats in kind, promising to rain “fire and fury” on the little pipsqueak with his little collection of cherry bombs in his little hermit castle. But maybe DJT is onto something here, shifting to a language the dick-tater-faced twerp might understand.

I mean, China has more or less profited for 8 years by having NorKor rattling a distracting sabre while it built up industries making China our main competitor in all respects. Xi certainly had nothing to fear from the Magic Negro whose foreign policy was to have no foreign policy other than apologizing for American success and supporting Islam. He was a modern Neville Chamberlain with his assurances on NorKor and Iranian nuke programs, promising peace in our time through capitulation.

Trump is not an aggressor; he’s a counterpuncher. He’s read history and knows how Hitler took advantage of the naivete of Chamberlain and Stalin and just how BAD was the Obama Iran-nuke “deal.” So he trash-talked a call on Phat Un’s running bluff and said, “Look, dipshit . . . if you really want your country transformed into a glowing ashtray, go ahead – take your best shot.”

Remember how the leftistas went apeshit over Reagan’s attempts to trigger World War III back in the 80s? All it accomplished was the demolition of the Berlin Wall and the dismantling of the Evil Empire Soviet Union. Appeasement isn’t going to protect us from madmen any more than political correctness will protect us from Muslim terrorists. Trump might be wrong, but he won’t be any wronger than his predecessor was in dealing with dictators.

As one senator said when France demanded payment for stopping attacks on American ships back in the 19th century, “Millions for defense but not one cent for tribute.” Just as the young Vito Corleone does with the extortionist Fanucci, it’s better to wipe out the bad guys than pay them ransom not to rape your daughter.

One thing I noticed during the campaign. Besides calling Trump Hitler which is de riguer every four years for for every Republican presidential candidate, this year pretty much everything the left said about Trump, “he’s a cowboy”, “he will get us into a nuclear war”, they said about Reagan. I meant to, but never got around to, putting together a list of all the quotes about Reagan back in the 80’s and asking whom they were talking about since they were the same quotes we heard last year, except this time, some of them were coming from Republicans.

As Ron pointed out, appeasement never works. Never! It only emboldens the bullies. We are seeing this with the SJWs. If you haven’t yet, get a copy of Vox Day’s, SJWs Always Lie. But I digress.

Thanks to feckless Dimocrat foreign policy (and RINO foreign policy) we have a nuclear North Korea. We will soon have a nuclear Iran since they have no intention of stopping their nuke program either. The upside here is that the first places Little Kim will take out if he launches nukes are full of Dimocrats, like Hawaii and San Francisco.

A Minneapolis mosque was bombed and it was immediately classified as a terrorist act. It wouldn’t surprise me if this turned out to be a scam. Meanwhile when an enraged Moslem with a knife yelling “Allah Snackbar”* kills people, authorities tell us not to jump to conclusions and they wonder what the Moslem’s motivation was. They tell us it may not be a terrorist act, just some random violence totally unconnected to Islam.

By the way, when these wacky Moslems yell “Allah Snackbar” they are not saying “God is great”, they are saying “Allah is great”. God and Allah are two different entities. Allah is not the God of the Old and the New Testaments. Allah was a Semitic moon god whom the insane pedophile Mohammed (Piss Be Upon Him) elevated to a supreme being when he created his death cult political ideology masquerading as a religion. He stole parts of the Bible when he created his “religion” and then equated Allah with God.

My friend Phil sent me this one.

MrJimm suggested I post something from Pavlov’s Dog, which was a St. Louis band in the 70’s. They recorded two albums but broke up due to poor sales. This was their most well known song. They were essentially a one hit wonder.

The band reformed in the 2000’s and has toured.

Back in the mid 70’s when I was a typewriter tech for IBM, I met a girl who was a publicist for the band. One of my fellow CEs, who was a real hound, was trying to get into her pants. She was promoting their 2nd album, and was wearing a pin in the shape of a bell with the words, “At the sound of” written on it. I had to question her about it and she patiently explained, “At the Sound of the Bell”, the name of their second album. I kindly didn’t point out to her that if she had to explain it, her publicity sucked.

This is the Prelude in C Minor from Bach’sWell Tempered Clavier. This was written for keyboard but has been transposed to guitar. I wish they would have shown a closeup of her playing. The version I found with a closeup of a person playing was not played as well. BTW, I learned how to play the Prelude in C Major on piano but I think this is beyond me, although Claudia will say she could prolly teach me how to play it in a few weeks

Acosta is so ducking fumb that he thinks immigration law is a poem on the Statue of Liberty. He’s also so ducking fumb that he doesn’t realize just how stupid Stephen Miller made him look. Even many of his colleagues are laughing at him over how Miller pwned him.

Acosta is one of those dumb liberals who think we must take in the dregs of the Third World and support them. JHFC! We have enough problems with the inner city parasites that we already have without importing more. How are those Somalis doing? They’re nice productive parasites right?

It used to be immigrants came here, worked hard, learned English, and became productive citizens. Now they come here, go on welfare, and demand we support the shitty culture they escaped from.
